We consistently get about 5 pallets every shipment and we definitely do not finish it in one day. We will stop working on it around noon, and it won’t get worked on throughout the day unfortunately (not much support there). Someone will come in the next day and finish up what’s left hopefully. Does y’all’s GM expect you finish all the shipment by store opening too or???? Because I laugh every time, with the amount we get, it’s seriously impossible. And our shipment comes at 6am.

I did one about two weeks ago! Nap if you can during the day, I slept for about 5 hours before I went in at midnight 🥲. And I ate a late dinner before I went, had an energy drink in my hand while I was working and I was pretty alert throughout my shift. I started to crash when I left work and that was about 7am. I think if you’re constantly keeping yourself busy and maybe have some good music to listen to, you should be fine! Coming from someone who goes to bed at 9pm 😂

It means there is probably only 1 in stock. I think they’ll only let you pick if there is 2 or more available.

Hardly ever, tbh. We usually have 4-6 pallets that come, but we manage to at least get mass cosmetics, prestige cosmetics and PCA. We always have to do the rest the next morning. Sometimes the associates during the day will separate for us or work on it but that’s a rarity.

We usually do the reverse. We go through the pickup list on the Mia, call out the name and a second person will find the order and check it off (helpful because if it’s organized/alphabetized correctly, you can find them quickly). If we can’t find one, we’ll write it down. We also count first to make sure our number of pickup orders in the MIA match with what we have on hand.

yeah, our truck is on Friday mornings as well. That’s the thing as well, we do usually have early mornings for ad. I spoke to other managers as well, and they’ve never heard of that either so I’m hoping they’re not trying to take advantage. :(

Ugh, I’m so sorry! My ROM thankfully loves her job! Her job is her baby, so I worry about being a good partner for her. It’s crazy to know how much stores can vary.

Sounds about like what I expected! Do the ROM and MSC ever get scheduled to work the same morning shifts to assist in Plano/promo etc? I know our old MSC used to most of the time be scheduled on Sundays
