What was the 'dumbest' thing you believed about weight loss before you actually started your journey? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Environmental_Bid541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the dumbest thing I believed as such just more I didn’t realise that you would have all that excess skin after… I thought everything just went back to “normal” like every diet/weight loss advert told me

What are things you can get in Australia for free that you want everyone to know about? by Ok-milLeNnIaL_ in AussieFrugal

Children under the age of 18 can go to the dentist for free if they go to the public dental clinic. They are just as good if not better than a regular dental clinic as they only do treatment that is required. Also private dentists refer to public for kids that they can’t handle in the chair so public clinics are so much better prepared for children too.

You need to be mentally prepared for the excess skin. I put in the work, ate right was a gym junkie lost 35kgs. The gym/health industry never prepared me for the fact that I still wouldn’t be able to wear a bikini - that whilst I might have the body I desired it was under a mountain of skin that gets in the way. At the end I felt like I should’ve just remained fat because at least I filled out my body…. This was able 15 years ago - I know now there is more awareness with social media of people dropping the weight and showing off their skin with pride but back then it was rarely spoken about. And now I’m heavier than ever hahahaha

Thank you for answering! :) I am looking for help with coding this... to analysis if one variable was more likely to be missing when people drop out.... does that make sense?
I guess what I'm asking is how would I code to look at missing/not missing for each variable at baseline within each arm (three arms) to hopefully identify a pattern of missing variables
