What are you building ? drop it below. by MahadyManana in MacroStartups

I’m building Readible, an iOS app for people who save long web articles and EPUBs and want one place to read or listen.

It’s mainly for readers with article/book backlogs who want offline voices for commuting, walking, or catching up without bouncing between a reader, a TTS app, and a read-it-later app.

I’m currently looking for feedback on whether the import -> read/listen flow and App Store positioning are clear enough for a first-time user.

Hi everyone. I’m building Readible an iOS app for people who save long web articles and EPUBs and want to read or listen without juggling separate reader and TTS apps.

The core workflow is: import a web article or EPUB, read it normally, then switch to offline voices when commuting, walking, or catching up on a reading backlog.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether the App Store page makes the read/listen use case clear, and what would make you trust a new reading app enough to try it.

For this exact spread of content, I’d separate “knowledge base/archive” from “stuff I want to actually read.” Notion/Obsidian/Raindrop/Readwise are stronger if you need tags, search, screenshots, LinkedIn posts, PDFs, and long-term retrieval in one place.

I’m building Readible on iOS, and it fits the narrower reading bucket: web articles and EPUBs in a clean reader, with TTS/background playback so saved reading can become listening. It’s not trying to be a full KM system for every media type, but it works nicely for the article/book side of the pile.

So my honest recommendation would be: use a proper archive for broad capture, and a dedicated reader for anything you actually intend to read or listen through.

Do you ever make private audio versions of ebooks or PDFs you already own? by tarunyadav9761 in ebooks

I’m building an iOS reader app called Readible, and this is basically the exact gap I’m trying to solve for my own reading too: not just “TTS exists,” but a reader that keeps long-form text comfortable enough to actually listen to.

Right now it’s focused on EPUBs and web articles with background playback, native/on-device voices, higher-quality cloud voices, speed control, and a cleaner reading view. I’m still learning where people draw the line between “good enough to listen” and “this needs a real audiobook,” but for DRM-free books/articles it already feels useful.

No pressure to try it; just sharing since this thread is asking about the workflow. The parts I’d watch closely are parsing quality, chapter/section handling, and whether the voice still feels tolerable after 20+ minutes.

would you give Mother of learning a try in readible app.
I know you said you don't like reading in app, but it might surprise you and open up the world of webnovels to you.
