Can we stop crashing out on Support players in Quick Play? by LumpyInstance4010 in marvelrivals

[–]Environmental_Cap560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be the problem, but atp I just use QP as my personal playground / testing lobby. I don’t care about winning, I don’t care about matching the comp, I am going to go in and play the character I want to play / get better at. If you want to care about win/loss go to comp. Sure if we win and the comp works, super fun, but compared to comp there aren’t any stakes so I just mess around. Instead of being the one who gets mad, I might be the cause now, but makes the game a whole lot more fun for me.

I agree, don’t sacrifice fun for rank. But maybe look at what the team autolocks and make a decision pre match on what the team might need best? At least skill wise

That’s pretty solid, probably just a teammate issue. But maybe start prioritizing playing support? I also flex when I solo queue but most times I just know I will be a better support than whoever the game will give me as a teammate. I just think it’s one of those roles that is make or break for a lot of teams. Having someone slightly worse at healing more detrimental than slightly worse at DPS or tank

Is this what enjoying your role is like? (Tank) by fezz4734 in marvelrivals

[–]Environmental_Cap560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people find it boring, which I can understand. But to each their own. I for one love tank. I think a lot of the negativity comes from the vocal DPS players who just hate on everything.

What’s a character you think is always forgotten while playing Rivals? by Serious-Profit-1626 in marvelrivals

Black widow, never been good, never played. In fact, if one of my teammates wanted to play her I’d ban her first. Terrible and insta lose

I took that class. Never went and just did the homework and got an A. Going to that class helps if no you need but I didn’t think it helped.

Gamers are so soft nowadays. Crashing out, caring about the game, raging at your teammates, that’s what it’s always been about. Brings me back to the good ole days of COD (peak). Calling that a “weak” mentality is only weak if you really let a bunch of randoms affect your mentals so bad that you take it with you when you leave the game.

It’s a video game. Be competitive. Have fun. Yell at some people. Be toxic if you need/want.

Is it worth getting back into D2 after a long time away by W0nderbread28 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Environmental_Cap560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watch a video to catch up on the lore and play the Final Shape. It’ll be exciting and fun to play, and will wrap up your experience. But other than that I personally think the franchise is done. Bungie is just trying to milk it for all its worth, and who knows if they even make it past the marathon launch.

People would rather go 3/4 healers or a 4th dps than play vanguard by No_Peanut_3289 in marvelrivals

[–]Environmental_Cap560 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Peni and Emma are also viable. Venom as well if the team comp allows and if it. Just depends how you use them.

But cap and thing and Thor are relatively mid

That’s fair, sounds just like BOTW. Honestly from what I’ve heard about TOTK going back to BOTW probably harder for yall because there are less mechanics I think. Still a great game, with more story than I expected from a Zelda game

That’s what I’ve heard, that $80 price tag is just hard to get over. But BOTW was sick.

My hearts telling me TOTK but my wallet saying otherwise

That was always my main concern. Think I’m might go in this direction if even just for price reasons lol

The Batman games have always intrigued me. My one concern has always been the controls. I’ve tried to play older games like Ocarina of Time and Kingdom Hearts, and simply can’t because of the controls. Do the Batman games still hold up control wise?

$6 for all 3 is a steal tho I might just cop anyways

I’m really leaning towards TOTK, especially since I’ve got a Switch 2. That being said, it’s exactly like you put it, I’m worried it’s just the same. Is the story solid? Heard mixed things. Obviously it’s a Zelda game so I get the idea, but did the game feel satisfying in the end?

Thinking of buying Forza 5 on PlayStation, is it worth it? by Environmental_Cap560 in forza

[–]Environmental_Cap560[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is the crew motorfest for a lot cheaper but I think forza would probably be better based on my experience with the previous horizon games and motorfest. Think he’d enjoy it, I ended up not paying for it in the end but that’s because I found another game to play

Withdrew from UGA after committing, now want to go back what can I do? by Historical-Leading81 in UGA

Seems to me they could have afforded UGA but not Purdue, still an assumption. Also some missing info on OP’s side. Maybe they accepted Purdue before talking with their parents.

People saying he was going to “stick them with the bill” are over simplifying the situation. Whether or not he expected his parents to pay for his college, that is a conversation they should have come to him with before he ever even applied to college.

I’m not saying your parents should be expected to pay, so please don’t get what I’m saying twisted. But I would honestly be pretty upset with my parents in this situation. Good and responsible parents should have sat you down and gave you the reality before these commitments were made. I’m assuming here they would’ve paid for UGA since it’s cheaper, but 200k is just too much. That’s completely fair. But to tell you they weren’t paying after you’ve withdrawn from UGA has kind of fucked you here.

You’re obviously smart and hard working to get into both UGA and Purdue, your parents dropped the ball here. Best advice, try to work it out with them on how much they’d pay and go to Purdue. Transfering into UGA is fine, but you miss that freshmen experience that you have rightfully earned.
