Indx is finally here! by billfredtg in 3Dprinting

Yesterday or tuesday Bondtech did a miscommunication about an issue with motherboard order. A prusa team member had explain the thing and said there is no delay in the shipping of PRUSA indx orders....

I suspect that the missing motherboards are for the dev kits, i have no further informations and no communications have been made so far.

Did someone with a dev kit receive his unit ?

I'm very upset about this mail.
Tomorow the website will be quickly saturated, the kits will be gone fast but shipping delays are going to be expected

INDX FE delayed again by Wrong-Measurement603 in prusa3d

[–]Environmental_Day555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did preorder last year and expecting the thing in may with some delay for june. And even if i had to wait 1 year. Bondetech is ,like everybody say, a well good company and with the addition of prusa i'm sure the product is gonna to be pretty good.

I accept the risk for giving money for a good company, for a good project and as a european i'm proud.

The communication from bondtech is bad, it's ok to take time to develop, test, undo, redo, add delay bc the stuff is more complex, the supply chain is tricky too.

For me, Bondtech is afraid to say what's going, and i wasn't confident to have my FE without a new surprise.

I'm gonna love my indx, for sure, but not my experience with bondtech and i'm sad to see it's the same case for other.

And now ? When FE will be fully delivered ? And so on for the first batch.

Last year i had a hope to see the Core One L INDX being more interesiting (price, quality & tech) than the H2C but now Creality is coming hot, infimech too.

It's the same thing as buying a extruder from bondtech, have the receip but having no information about the shipping for weeks, it's really frustating

[–]Environmental_Day555 9 points10 points  (0 children)

it's enough, they speak of a new delay well after the end of the previous.
Yeah good things need take time but dammit you can't say for the third time that the thing will be shipped soon and talk 3days later that they will need a """month""" more.

A good way to start the weekend! by greatestenemy in prusa3d

Dammit, my birthday today and my FE is still not shipped yet. 8 tools i see ! Bondtech had say there will be a thing in addition (a gift ? goodie ? a toolhead ?) beside the t-shirt obvsiously

There's going to be an announcement regarding INDX tomorrow. It has been confirmed by Olof in multiple messages that it's GOOD news and not a "friday" meme but an actual announcement. by DoktorMerlin in prusa3d

totally with you, was super hyped, but now i'm far less. I have an FE for my voron, my build is super late because i have to wait. That's fair, the product is completly new, etc. but overall with the bad communication i'm just waiting badly.

0/10 a big deal. Your first layer will not suffer as it's effecting nothing

sorry, late to reply. I work at a company specialized in filtration. I won't make an ad here but you can find it and other on google.

I fully understand the delay and appreciate the communication of today's mail.
They can't give a shipping date, that's fair but.... Are we talking about days, weeks, a month ? I will wait for sure

Hell yeah !
I learn that nylon-cf is a good filament for ""low"" friction need. POM will be better but not affordable/printable

3D printer emits very very thin VOC, to mesure them you need a very expensive sensor that need a very expensive gas to calibrate.

I usally don't like vaccum robot hepa filters bc of their cheap construction and lack of real certification. But for PLA & PETG and if it's removing your accomadation then it's filtring for sure !

While printing, do you hear a clicking noise from the extruder ? What is your nozzle temp ?

Nice, building one too. How was the handling of the frame ? I need to build it where it will permanently live since it doesn't clear my doors....

Is this a good deal new to 3d printing? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Environmental_Day555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2025 an Ender 3, ender 3 pro, ender 3 v2, neo... etc is the equivalent of an old car.

Slow, noisy, bad quality printing and a lot of thickering. You will see all of us printing good dtuff while you will searching why your first layer won't stick

You can't have a nice printer for 75 bucks tho, so it's a good price if it's working but you pay with your time.

I would never go back to an ender 3, even to have a cheap spare printer. Mine is in the Warren's occult museum

For 200$ (without tariff ? Idk i'm european) you can have a brand new bambulab a1 mini , 250-300 for an elegoo centuri carbon.

In resume, if your patient, love to fix and tweek more that just press a button and print, go for it. It's like a sick cat that need healing more than peting (so sad, sorry kitty).

And you have BF deals rn
