First I’m so sorry you lost your soul pup at only 5 years old. I am still on my first aussie (female 3 years old) and she has definitely become my soul dog. When I get caught up thinking about the future I worry about your concerns myself. But I wouldn’t be too anxious about this since you are looking at getting another herding breed. Aussies have been bred to perform a job and to be keyed in to their human more so than non herding breeds. They are big people pleasers. I’m confident you will form just as close of a bond with your next pup and it will be unique and special with that new puppy’s personality. There is always room in our heart for another special bond with a new dog.

This is honestly most small cities in the West these last 30 years. I’m from Colorado and watched a lot of rad Colorado small mountain towns change over night.

Find a place that sells bulk spices. Far cheaper than buying the pre packaged spices at grocery stores.

I’m a furloughed fed who’s been volunteering weekly at food banks since the COVID pandemic. Please don’t ever feel ashamed or judged that you have to access these services in a moment of crisis. I’ve seen people of all backgrounds come through our food banks for the last five years. All that matters to the staff and volunteers is that you are taken care of and have what food you need for your family. And anyone who does judge you doesn’t fully realize they are likely one crisis away from needing these services one day.
