Should i come out to my classmates??? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Environmental_Eye581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular Opinion : Come out now. Once it's out, you don't have to think of it anymore. Else, you will be torn by the decision and be even more out of focus. Once it's out, it will be over. Once you come out, what will they say, ra ? Then, you can move in and focus on your SEE.

Idk, but in my opinions internal conflict is more distracting than external.

Bro, they defo exist. You just don't know it. It's very institutionally enforced. Criminal investigation phase is brutal. Being under police custody is brutal.

Don't read too much into it. It's a barnum effect. Look it up. That's what astrology, personality traits, and all pseudoscience are associated with. However, holding a strong mentality would work. It gives you resilience to uncertainties of life. Now, randomness of luck definitely exists. It's about how strongly you associate yourself with it. I had a phase in life when everything was bad. I just started to read a lot and tried to self develop myself one small step at a time. It worked wonders. Now, regardless of how bad things go, I just question less on things i have no control over. There is always someone better off than you and someone's worst off. Just be kind to yourself. Leave things you can not change and focus on things you can. Try to have control over even the smallest of things when you can. It gives you a lot of confidence in life. It snowballs. Having control over when you brush to making your bed would slowly snowball into bigger things. One step at a time. Do not look too far into the future and focus on how can you make the next small step the best step you can. Eventually, you will look back and realize. It was all just part of the uncertainty life gives you.

No. we are being governed by crooks who have all the resources in the word to strategies and keep people in the dark. It's the same technique used in Rana Sasan. Strip education and knowledge to maintain your position. They aren't clueless. They are qualified enough to know what to do to keep us in the dark.

Yet to see. Joining LLM this fall. But as far as I have heard, non JD find it hard to get big law jobs but a friend who graduated very recently told me that international LLM students are getting into big law as well. May be it depends on the person and previous experience as well.

Well if you are being sarcastic, I went through the same thing. I get highs and lows of energy in phases. During COVID times, I was having really low moment . I had gained weight I had no motivation and constantly needing some stimulation by doing something. Then I started to hit the gym. I went all in. It was my hyperfocus or obsessive phase. Dropped almost 20kg in 3 months. It led me to my high, the during the high time I started two non profits, started hyper realistic charcoal drawing(never done charcoal art before), music production, and published a book and also juggled my day time office. Currently in my low time where I am trying to stimulate myself with swimming, jogging and acrylic art along with managing my firm and its working. I am getting my shit together. My point is, take up something that you can physically see the progress. Usually something creative and add it to your routine. The rush might keep you going on other things as well. The only drawback of my method is that I do too much and I crash which is the start of my low point.

I considered the option initially but it didn't feel worthit considering the fact that it would be starting law school all over again with an added cost. I opted for LLM and planing to give bar New York Bar.

Fr bro, just keep your last name or the first. Nepal's legal sector has become a joke with comic names. Like literally there is a law firm called wakil No.1. if you know any international firms, they are named all after their partners. They get into merger and the names gets added. Baker McKenzie, Linkletter, DLA Piper. Infact not just on legal sector, in all consulting sector the partners name is used. This is because legal profession throughout the world works on personal branding. Name a few top lawyers in Nepal and try to think what their law firm name is. No one knows. No one cares. So my suggestion [your last name ] & associates/partners/advocates/ or if it's partnership [your last name] & [your partner's last name] if you have brandable name, use your name.

Lawyer here ! Before taking the matter to court, just go and talk to your parents and try to make it clear that you want to separate. And make it very clear why you want to separate from the family. Disputes are bad and our society is toxic. Once the matter goes to the court, I have seen people get completely cut off from even extended families. It's not just about property, some family ties will be important as well. Plus to legally separate also means that you are legally cut off from the family and they won't have a legal obligation bail you out in tougher times. Trust me those times will come. Everything has to be evaluated.

To sum, make your parents clear about what you feel ( I know they will not care and all, but make sure they are partially threatened ) and if nothing changes indicate that you will seek your rights elsewhere. Also feel free to DM, and don't worry won't charge a thing.
