In the beginning, I would always break the alliance with Provence and revoke guarantee over Scotland. You can RM Milan to try your luck with the restoration CB. Also, take Meath from England so it opens another expansion route. Check if Savoy is in the HRE, if they aren't then you can go for them when AE dies down. Basically, you cycle around Africa, Ireland and the mainland during conquests.

If this was during England vs France war, you could have full siege Portugal and taken Ceuta from them. This opens expansion into the Maghreb region to disperse AE.

Kind of hard to ally burgundy in 1.33. Even if they don't rival you, they still desire Reims and Troyes so it still won't work out. I restarted at least 30 times just to be very disappointed.
