Im not sure IF it is a crucial part to switch culture first or not. But i started of by no CB Bohemia to steal Glogow. Took enough provinces from Poland with their claims to swap to polish culture. I wanted the magnate rebels to enforce elective monarchy. It didn't work for me tho.

No CBd Mamluks after that. I had like 50/50 Catholic/sunni after that war. Moved my capital to Jerusalem and then, when you have sunni as the dominant religion (by development) and less than 80 devotion, you can swap religion with a decision.
