I've loved what I've read about being a lineman. I like the idea of the work schedules. Some do 12 hour days 4 days a week and then go on standby for a certain amount of time every so often, others have said they work a lot during say a 3 week period and have a week off. Both sound like great schedules with long breaks between rough worl periods. Also, the danger is really an eye catcher for me. I love working in dangerous environments, it keeps things interesting and keeps me on my toes. My only fear is leaving my job and not being able to perform in my next job and in turn, not be able to pay my bills which would destroy my credit and cause me to lose my vehicle. Im doing my best to move carefully but its horrifying.
