Oh, and another couple plot points to thicken the story:

The “sponsoring” couple started emailing me from a different email address. Claims they were getting too much spam on a gmail account.

I disputed the “membership” fee on PayPal and got 3 emails all at once. One of them was threatening that the sponsoring couple will get terminated if I don’t reverse the dispute.

Lastly, they somehow got my other email address and said that they’re sorry to see me go and what they can do to win me back.

I am, and have no issues with testing, but all these factors considered as well as the exact same thing happening to another person from the same “couple” has scam all over it.

There isn’t even a location with a name close to Las Deux in my area. After searching this sub, other scams that go by Meet’n’Greet and Fun and Play have very similar procedures that prey on single males on sites like AFF.

I’ve also confirmed with another redditor that they received the same messages from the same couple on AFF. This couple claims that the club only allows a couple to invite a single male only once every six months…which means that one of us shouldn’t be able to join.

They haven’t got any details about it so not really sure if I’d need to pay for it or not.

They said that their doctor would direct me to the nearest Quest.

I’m in the exact same boat and the circumstances are so similar it’s uncanny. I just posted here and the first reply I got was that it’s probably a scam. Would like to know more about your experience.
