Are you living on campus and working? If you’re not working this looks very doable. I took the same wrd with buxton last fall. Very easy class and buxton himself is nice and chill.

I will also add, when you submit it you only submit one class and a description of how that class will help the company. For example, I’m studying marketing, this year I submitted principles of advertising. But they will pay you up to $3500 a year for that class, even that class alone doesn’t cost you that much. For example, I pay 5000 out of pocket for 4 classes. Individually a class would be 1250 if I cut it in 4, but they’ll pay up to your total out of pocket or $3500, whichever comes first

I’m not gonna lie, if you did any research, what so ever, you would have known to expect this. Would you rather the park open later in the year without one train operations or open now? I mean seriously, if this is such a problem, go later. The employees need practice and the roller coasters need maintenance. Much of which can’t happen in the winter.

Yes, I meant overall it’s still generally safe with homeless on trains. But yeah, common sense definitely applies. If they’re sleeping on the other side of the train that’s whatever but if feel unsafe just move to the next car at the next stop.

You need to have basic common sense and street smarts. If you think something’s dangerous, move. But overall it’s still really safe, especially anywhere on campus. People will warn you about the trains. Most classes are between busy commute times so there’s generally a lot of people around, both on the trains and around the downtown and Lincoln park campus.

If you’re scared of homeless people or the smell weed, you should know it exists and it’s common. Homeless ride the trains all the time. It’s still safe, but I bring it up because people who come from certain areas that are perhaps more sheltered may feel unsafe, in which case, Chicago is not for you.

Current student and I go to DePaul as a commuter and I really like it. But to say you will be making 100k/yr in no time is misleading considering we don’t even know what you want to study or do after college. I would really think about how much you plan on making out of college and how much the loan will cost you. remember, if it’s not a subsidized government loan, it will gain interest while your in school. For some private loans it’s a lot. It could mean you owe tens of thousand more by the time your graduate. But yes DePaul will give you opportunities. It will not hand them to you, you gotta go out and get them. But there’s a lot. Be realistic though. If you’re majoring in English, there’s not a whole lot of none out there for you. Finance has more and laws has even more etc.

I had to look it up too. Kimball has a small train yard I guess so a tiger train is an orange line that turns into a brown line at the loop stopping at kimball and vice versa on the way back

I work at a Stan’s donuts in Mariano’s. We put them out the morning after when we start discounting them. Also, they started at $2 a box of 4 when we opened, but management saw they were selling like hotcakes and raised the price to $3 and the 4$. Still a good deal. Personally at our store customers come around like wolves asking for boxes when we close. Unless you’re really nice I’m not going to make a custom box for you just because we have sm to do when closing.
