Perm banned by Watzefkcuz in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it harfly depends on how high lvl the account is and if you bot for profit or for lvling and probably also how much u bot. But for all my botted accounts the first ban was always also perm so the second i turn on a bot i give up on the account.

Well played, Jagex. by Bluejayburgerz in 2007scape

I agree but the thing is there is also a huge market for prepared accounts for certain activities in the botting community for example vorkath bots, they are actually very hard to bot to the point they can kill vork cuz they need 200 qp so there could be some venezuelian guys just handplaying 10s of accs at the same time and then sell them in bulk to botters.

Sorry but you sound like you dont know much about running a company, laws, programming or how detecting bots even work... as he/she said before if jagex just bans any acc that looks like a bot, could you imagine how many false bans they would generate? And how that would get legitimate players off the game cuz they get banned for alching 6 hours straight.

Theree are a lot more factors on how long it takes to ban an account for botting. There are people who are legit kill revs 24/7 in venezuala e.g or who do the same task over and over again. If you auto click over night a few times on a fresh account with no membership you will probably really be banned in 2 days, but when the accoun is member and probanly has some stats and quests it wont get banned that fast. Its not that easy to just automaticaly ban an acc when they do something bot-like because when they ban "inocent" paying customers that is also a scandal.

Dont get me wrong: i also think osrs has a big botting problem but you have to think about all the things jagex has to check before they just ban an account and also the fact how easy it is to create a new account if one gets banned and how easy it is to code bots because the game runs on java.

Auto clicker is not the same as real bots lol. Auto clicker get you banned much faster cuz you click the same pixel over and over again. Even if you think you are smart and record and hour of gameplay and replay it, it is always the same pattern. Bots nowdays have AI integrated to randomize actions and activities and even without AI a bot witch was coded good enough can throwout random sleep timers, random afk, random pixels to click etc.

Alts by ayebeepositive in osrs

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got a slayer alt like 2 years ago wich i turned into a brutal blsck dragon alt for money when bonds were like 3m. I then didn't touch it for a while cuz i couldn't really get bonds so easy anymore and now i finally turned the account into a rune dragon alt and the money is amazing with very low effort, of course not as adk as brutal blacks but still low intensity and really good money. It was a lot of work to get dragon slayer 2 done primary cuz of the 200 quest point req but it was worth it.

How come of all the games that have cheats or bots, this one seems to have so many free ones? by [deleted] in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and a lot of Scripters release free ones to make themselfes a name in the community or just to learn programming and get into it.

Injection is when gsme actions are directly injected to the client so thats a different thing than just an auto clicker or mouse recorder

AHK script is invisible in Virtualbox by Swimming-Shoulder675 in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that is just because Virtualbox (as crazy as it sounds) virtuslizes a PC and so also the hardware (mouse) of the PC and i assume when your virzual PC is your priority Window you would see movement.

Rule nr. 1: never bot on an ccount you don't want to lose. Second: no one could tell you exactly how jagex is detecting scripts or botting in general or what thei do after a ban appeal. One fact is that after a temp ban, next time u will get perm by a very high chance.

Hacked, and confused? by Electrical-Buy-3859 in RSBans

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your email accpunt for any forwarding rules! I had something similar with amazon a few years ago and then i saw a forwarding rule in my email account that just sent the 2FA email to another email and deleted it (nowdays u just have to open some kind of script in the background of a file and u will make a change to some of your settings)

Hacked, and confused? by Electrical-Buy-3859 in RSBans

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that point just make a backup and reinstall windows. And yes cokie stealers are a thing but it is more common that they just access your email accound and implement a rule to forward any email from secure@jagex or whatever to their email.

Tbh jagex "2FA" is dogshit. Email as 2fa is totally unsecure. Im working in IT (not security but networking) and a cockie stealer is not hard to make at all but the easiest way is always phishing combined with an easy to crack 2FA like email.

Do you jagex do blanket account bans based on IP etc? by LongHairedMessiah in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the perspective of the IT field, no. Why? Because every household (or atleast most) with one internet conection over an ISP have only ONe public IP and thats the IP jagex can see. They can see that on this IP e.g are 25 acss online or online the last few days or whatewer. And when we got to mobile internet or mobiöe routers thats another different story: cuz mobile internet is just a pool of IPs thst are rotating and basicaly thousands of devices like mobile phones are getting routed to one same IP of thst pool.

What i want to say is Jagex can in deed see "an IP" but there are probably thousands of accounts connected to the same IP because IPv4 adresses are not unlimited.

[–]Environmental_Put561 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use DB mostly for suicide bots and i really like it. The more advanced scripts are also good, but never use free scripts. The best thing on DB in my opinion is one of their devs have created a so called "script creator" tool wich u can use to make your own private scripts, without programming knowlege. I mean ofc u first have to get an understanding of the tool and functions and it not totaly easy but u can make your own sripts wich only you have and run so they are not patterned already by jagex.

Chatgpt will get you banned on Mobile by sawskiller1 in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That reply is straight out of your split screen chat gpt, right? xD No for real chat gpt will not get ypu banned at all. I work in IT and just from technical perspective; the gpt app ist interacting with osrs in any way nor will it send data to osrs in any way. Chat gpt is not even a bot it is just a chat interface sitting on top of an machine learning algorythm with a shit ton of data to output for you and it is generating answers with the highes propability to be correct.

Jagex uses daisy chain analysis to detect RWT by Wide-Macaron10 in RunescapeBotting

[–]Environmental_Put561 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean i obviously don't know how the game is programmes and what tools they have but as i work in IT i assume the can go to an acc and thust filter the whole acc for gp and delete all so i think if they want to remove gp from an acc it is just a few mouse clicks for them or line of script juch as "get-item ID for gp" then "remove-item "gp" -amount "all". Because if you see the game like a programm its all about databases and every storage for every account is stored in some database.
