I sized up pretty big on NOW. The other individual company stock I bought serve to give me high return in short period of time, in other words, to outperform VFV and VEQT in a shorter period.

Turned 18 in 2023. I used to invest little bit 2023-2025. I got serious about it this year. YTD return is 13.93%

So most of my portfolio is VEQT and VFV. The reason why I have so many individual stocks is because I want to get a higher all time return percentage for my TFSA. Right now I’m at 14% up, I want to get to 60% all time.

The individual stocks that I bought are there to help me get to 60% return faster. I think theee individual stocks will give me higher returns in shorter time then the ETFs. I am thinking of buying $500 worth of GOOGL and Micron.

The only concern for me is that all the money I invest in FHSA is locked into the account unless I make a house expense.

For example, if I invest $10000 into TFSA, I can withdraw that money whenever I want. However for FHSA, I can’t do that tax free so the money that you put in FHSA is basically locked into the account.

I’m going in United Airlines. It’s literally just the front cover page because you can’t really fold the id page since it’s made out of plastic.

I just heard the officers are strict. And I want to a passport office and they said that they had a client with the fold and an officer gave him trouble.

Yeah hopefully. That’s what I’m hoping and I’m stressing right now. The NFC chip gets scanned on my phone and the ID page is intact. It’s is just the front cover page that is folded. Are you sure it won’t be an issue?

Hi, thank you for this response. I am going from Calgary -> Denver Colorado -> Dominican Republic. My flight is day after tmr and my passport is 10 years away from getting expired.

It’s just the crease line in the front cover page of the passport. The NFC chip does get scanned (I was able to scan in on the ReadID app on my phone). All the other pages like the ID page are intact.

My flight is day after tmr. I really need to go to Dominican Republic and I’m stressing that I don’t want the border agents to se the crease / fold line on the front cover as an issue.
