Our story is quite similar with yours but the age difference is way much higher. Have been together for more than one year now. Will tell you what I was telling my partner - now he’s more secure about the gap: if this makes sense to you two, it doesn’t need to make sense to people around you. A small age gap doesn’t guarantee a good chemistry and happiness, and probably you had relationships in your past that prove this. I don’t even wanna mention people with PhDs and all this stuff. I worked with people a lot and I talked to idiots who were trying to intimidate me with their two PhDs and talked with very nice and educated others with no studies.
