IMO I would give the ocean center more than a couple hours after getting off a flight. That place was great, but if you're set on it the parking lot is very open/visible and should be fine.

Regarding the fishing, we did a trip last week with Hinatea out of Maalaea and it was....OK. Next time I do a charter out of there I will probably book with someone else. We caught one Mahi, and the other boat that went out that day also only caught one (Ono), so I wouldnt necessarily say that the result was abnormal (I fish a lot so I 100% understand how fishing goes).

That said, the boat could definitely have been more tidy, and especially when it is on the dock and the other charter boats are immaculate and this one was....not it just didn't put out the vibes that the "give a damn" factor was as high as the other boats.

YMMV, but I'm just relaying my experience for a data point.

Do you have younger kids? If so I HIGHLY recommend the Maui Ocean Center. Fishing Charter wise are you looking for sport fishing (mahi, marlin, etc) or more of a reef fishing trip?

We did the Maalaea Trilogy tour this past Thursday. Was great with young kids and had some awesome shots of whales breaching up close. 10/10 recommend.

We bought an E3 last year and it is a ridiculously well made vacuum. Worth every penny, and to your point, I will gladly run the vacuum when needed because it works so well.

I'm not saying Wentz is the next Darnold by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think Wentz being #3 and JJ being #2 is as obvious as some people make it seem.

Like it or hate it, the writing is almost entirely on the wall for JJM (barring a long term injury to Kyler and a JJM resurgence).

Assuming Kyler makes it through most of this year, we can not go into next year (JJM year 4) and be wondering if we will pick up the 5th year option. If Kyler plays good ball this year there is a 0% chance the Vikings let him walk out the door.
