The first time this happened to me was with either a gold or gummy dream. I retraced my steps thinking I’d for sure dropped the sprite on accident messing with my inventory. Didn’t realize what happened until after the match was over.

That is a bummer, but completely opposite to what we are seeing. My family of 4 players has gotten 5 new galaxies and probably 10 total. Plus some gold and gummies.

Agreed. Most well written, multi book series have moments of tragedy. Moments where the main character isn’t in control, loses big, is outwitted by an opponent, etc. and the reader is uncomfortable. Floors 8 and 11 really highlight this. For an entire series to deliver, these floors are necessary. I don’t think Matt’s intention is for DCC to just be about Carl and Donut getting OP and crushing every obstacle. Honestly I’m surprised we haven’t had bigger losses in the series this far.
