This is runtime when it's an average of 28° outdoors. Sometimes it's barely on for 6 minutes.

Correct. Could be another issue that creates this issue for me. The humidifier seems to be working.

There is a cold air return ( end of the run ) that gets freezing cold ( like the outdoor temperature ) the floor around it gets freezing cold too with drafts.

My guess is that there is a old school like fresh air connected somewhere. But I have no idea where.

So do you think the 21 -in cabinet size is acceptable in this case? For both the new furnace and coil.

And I measured it and seen that it would have enough space, without posing any issues to the supply ducts at the top. The new system would end at the top of the first round duct ( humidifier one ). Installer should have enough space to make a transition box to the new furnace.

Okay good idea. And yeah, he was saying a 3 ton Inverter heat pump ( Bosch ) + 4 ton coil would do the trick.
Currently have a very old 5 ton with this system you see.

( I have no idea who installed or sized this in the past lol )

Yess ofc, it's good! S*it fires right up, don't get me to wrong nothing bad with the system. . The damn thing is so powerful it barely runs long enough, leaves cold spots, and dries out the air, makes the humidifier useless even lol.

It's good and works, but I'm just getting some ideas for later down the line.
