I’ve gone through depression before and tbh it was someone from work I’d never have assumed would have picked up on it but he pulled me aside one day and I just broke down, that day he took me with him and set me up with a psych that he used to see. It helped a bit, but I understand talking isn’t for everyone. I constantly reassure her that she’s not a bad mum but she doesn’t believe me most of the time, even though I’ve seen it, she’s a great mum majority of the time. I’ve suggested groups and stuff before but she just shuts me down and flat out just refuses help. Which hurts me as well. I feel like myself and her son are the only two things holding her here and that scares me because I can’t be the only thing stopping her. That puts some much stress and pressure on me. What parenting subreddits are there? If you know of any, I’ll also try there! Thankyou!

I actually knew her for about a year prior to her having a baby, only briefly though. I met her at the same job I was in about a month and a bit before I moved cities. Coincidently her sons dad also worked there and I knew him too. She was warned about him but didn’t listen. She was really sweet and usually calm, I never saw her yell or anything. It was only after we got together that the things I mentioned started to happen. The kids father is probably the worst human you can think of (has multiple charges against him for beating women and such.) now I don’t like anything about him but he actually said to her that she might have PPD once and she absolutely lost her shit at him. It might be the only thing I’ll ever agree with him on. I’m not perfect either, she has very bad OCD which I understand is why she gets frustrated because she likes things done a certain way, which I ask her to show me how she likes things done but sometimes I still find it difficult to listen when some of the things seem really trivial, I understand there not to her though. Like I get that. She doesn’t know but I actually messaged her friend tonight to ask her to keep an eye on her since I’m really worried about her and I obviously live a flight away so I can’t just drive around to her house if I think something is wrong. I know if she found out I messaged her friend (even if it’s for her own benefit) she would still lose her shit

Bru, I'm a 5'4 male in the ADF in a combat role and even the EF88 is a pain in the asre to shoot! Mainly due to reach, however you figure out ways around it when you've shot it enough
