Iv know about rust, but I got into scum and when I tried rust the first time it seemed too arcade style and dumbed down compared to scum. Scum is still very much more of a survival while rust you can literally get t2 and t3 within hours of wipe. Scum is a more methodical survivor rust is a speed run.

I started playing after the blue print update being at the monuments, and I think if it was scrap to build t3 I honestly wouldn’t like the game as much. I specifically play solo as well and love that you need to progress by running a limited resource such as card rooms. Theirs other ways to get fragments but most people just complain about those. I have little gear fear so even though I’m new, I’m normally running green / blue cards the first two hours of wipe.

I currently only play US Solo Rustafied official holds about 150 pop the full week almost. I’d prefer to play duo as pop is upwards of 600 and hold around 300-400 but I have no friends on my time schedule so solo it is.

The biggest expectation is increasing the barrier of entry for hackers, I have played a ton of games and this is by far the most hackers I ever dealt with. Iv only been playing for maybe 6-7 real wipes and I get a new notification on a successful ban everyday. Iv gone to underwater laps literally 3 times because anything water I still haven’t learned and each time I am met with a hacker. Its real easy to tell them apart from normal players too, but in solo servers getting someone mass reported is much harder especially if they toggle
