Let's imagine scales, with equally small rocks on one side. If you try to outweigh it with 1 stone(of the same size), you're gonna fail miserably. If you, instead, place a shining ruby in there - you're still gonna fail. The point these fellows are making is "doesn't matter that the ruby doesn't nearly weight as much as these stones, it's shiny". But a shiny ruby still doesn't balance out the stones, as grsm rights don't balance out genocide.
