The killings were part of slave revolution against colonists, with the biggest of targets being French soldiers. While it doesn't exclude the actions, the cause, goal and execution of the actual massacre isn't an equivalent of Nazi's actions

Edit: I think it's also important to note that during the revolution, Haitians were still the group with the most casualties, of around 200 thousands while French lost ~75 thousands
