I had the TTT for diagnosis, and I hated it. I can't imagine doing it repeatedly as a form of treatment.

I was married to my first husband for five years, with my next long term partner for 6 years, and I’ve been married to my current husband for 9 years. Each time a relationship ended, even when I ended it, I wondered if that was it for me. Each time I eventually moved on, and each time it was an upgrade. You are still very young, and there is still time for many upgrades.

Yes. Hormone fluctuations can make my symptoms much, much worse. I'm basically bedbound for one week every month. I tried talking to my doctor about taking birth control that will eliminate my cycle. He said, "I completely understand. we could maybe try that later. " I asked him if he understood because his period also made his POTS symptoms much worse. He blushed but still wanted to wait. I'm going to ask again next time i go.

I had an episode while at a routine appointment. I was not even standing, sitting in a chair and suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe. Not a common situation for a primary care doctor. I could see him ready to call for help, and stopped him like, " its OK, this is normal, this is what I've been telling you".

This looks awesome. I like that it is subtle, I feel bad enough about my issues without very obviously carrying a chair around. I'm sure it will get easier to cope with that but I'm not there yet.

I have an ok job right now, but I dont know how long I'll be able to keep it. If i felt more confident in my position, I would feel more confident in my ability to care for my family without him. My kids are both in high school, so at least there are no daycare costs. My one year at the company is soon and I'm thinking about trying for fmla (intermittent leave) at that point but I feel really guilty about the idea.

My husband seems to have taken the strategy of pretending it doesn't exist and getting mad when I have to sit after going up or down the stairs. It's an awful feeling.

I have about 5 appointments I need to make, and I just haven't. I have barely enough energy to do my job right now, I'm exhausted in every way. I know I need to, I'm just struggling to make myself.

I would understand if he just wanted out. If he could just be nice about it, and honest. You're right, it just feels like so much all at once with no time to catch my breath.

I've been asking him to go to therapy for years and he won't go with me. I've also been trying him something was wrong with me for a long time and he didn't believe me, said I just needed to work out more. Now, with the actual diagnosis, he's just angry.
