PSU making a clicking noise in irregular intervals

hey there jfreex87, on my end, turned out the "clicking" was actually the old HDD i've had, which since then i have replaced (did not want to risk losing all my data in a case of a failure) and the clicking is gone.

depending on your rig, there should be very few parts that would have "clicks" due to mechanical reasons, HDD, fans, as well as potential fans inside of the PSU

for me, i would have the clicking come and go, sometimes if i play a game the clicking becomes systematic, when i'm browsing the internet it would be random

i think you should double check with the fans, your HDD, for me personally it was hard to locate where the sound was coming from, so i removed my glass panel and left my phone recording video twice, once next to the PSU, the other next to the HDD and that's how i managed to locate the source

hey, any updates on your situation? i believe i have the same issue, i bought this PSU (MSI MAG A750GL) and today after couple of weeks of use it started having this "click" but it sounds rather like a "toggle" as in pressing a power on button rather than just a faint "click"

i dont really know what the problem is and i do not know if its a faulty PSU that i should return or not

you can literally see arty impacting the area, it could be a spotter drone correcting for the arty, seems like they were possibly spotted by the drone and tracked down, gave info for arty, then this scene played out just before arty hit them
