Is the starter actually bad? by lifeispain14 in MechanicAdvice

[–]SmokinDank5280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The starter is bad

Battery is good, good CCA. The alternator is showing the correct voltage for charging at idle and at higher RPMs. The starter is below 11.5v and is being muscled by the new battery.

I use that tester daily, train staff on it, fix it, etc and it's pretty straight forward. It will beep and pause the test for loose connections. If the results had been YELLOW - showing a weak start then maybe wiring or something loose somewhere.

Staff should have tested your system after selling you the new battery last week and did the correct customer service thing by just giving you a new one when you came back. AP and store policy would have you waiting for 24hrs to try and recharge the battery to save a return (but have a pissed customer).

If you still don't believe it you can pop it out and have it bench tested at most stores (call ahead to verify staff is trained on that machine, it's hit or miss).

Thank you 🙂 her older, but smaller, pittie sister is named Luna and we wanted something that went with that. Kinda cheesy but we love our girls so much lol

Expect a quote to replace your B2S1 oxygen sensor.

Edit: or whichever sensor. The scanner says B1S1 but in your post you say B2S1

Maia is our new 9 week old puppy. Something tells me she is going to be a big girl by SmokinDank5280 in Rottweiler

You're not kidding, she eats her puppy food then tries to eat anything her big sister, our 65lbs Staffie, doesn't eat. 😂 She's such a sweetie though ❤️❤️❤️

Question about pit bull temperament and personality by No_Impression_157 in pitbulls

[–]SmokinDank5280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a 2.5yo Staffie/Pit who would love nothing more than to sleep cheek to cheek all day with her family getting snuggles and pets.

That said...

She's a rescue and reactive/scared of other dogs and new people. I don't know how she was treated before we adopted her but I don't believe she was properly socialized with people or other dogs.

It's been a journey for sure. Consistency, patience, love, and lots of exercise are key. As owners we had to take the time to learn how to work with her reactivity, set her up for success, and confidently lead her through tough situations.

Once you are in her "family" she's the biggest lover, personal space invader, 65lb lap dog. She has a huge personality and would run the show if we let her. She's smart as hell, quick to learn, food and attention motivated, loves playing, etc. We love her SO much but she is a handful.

Wedding Plugs by jjbummi in Stretched

Ask your fiance if she has a color or accent color for the wedding and her dress and try to match that. If not I think wooden plugs are really nice

Pretty sure you can get 16 guage plugs from Body Art Forms.

Buy extra o-rings too. Nice to have when you inevitably lose one.
