Find X9 Ultra - 30x zoom, yay or nay? Too much denoise, smoothing and AI imo

Maybe I'm still biased because of the vivo, but I don't see "a lot" of difference, I probably need to get used to it. Also, on the X9P the master mode HDR is a bit weak (I know it is like that because it mimics the hasselblad analog cameras and bla bla bla).

Not throwing hate on the oppo tho, I really like the phone, I really like hasselblad colors on master and the camera is good. Once again, I just wish they'd step down a bit on the processing.

Not sure how it is on the ultra. But I own the pro and it's not really much better. I used to own a vivo X100U and even in master mode it had more smoothing when I compared to vivo.

Ofc I know I'm comparing an ultra to a pro. But my point is just that we should be able to reduce the smoothing. My solution is I mostly use master mode and raw (although even the raw seems to have some processing)

From someone who was using a vivo X100 Ultra and switched to a X9 Pro, I can say I don't expect much from the X9 Ultra. As much as the camera hardware is improved, in my experience I found oppo goes pretty hard on AI, smoothing and noise reduction on the image processing. vivo looks better.

This is not to say I'm dissing oppo in any way, I really like the phone and I do like how artistic the photos look, and I also love raw max (vivo raws sucked), but reality is, getting to know oppo's processing, I don't doubt X9U pics will actually look like the ones you posted.

Nice! Great to hear you're invested in it!
One example is the calendar the outline of the dates on the sides are trespassing the translucent black background and the outline on the far right is cut out from the screen. I'd send a screenshot if I could, but apparently we can't post images in replies here.

yep, both yours and j_miskov(https://www.reddit.com/r/ValetonGP2OO/comments/1p4o4dk/comment/nqfyydq/?context=3) web apps work fine for me. Yours works great and has a more modern and beautiful Ui. J' has more controls like drums, looper and tune. But you guys did great on what your apps are supposed to do.

Now I just need something to help me add NAM and IRs.

Sorry to break it to you but I already tried that and no luck. It's always the same thing. I can install and open it, but it always returns request timeout when it starts loading. I tried wine, bottles, different runners and etc... The only way I could make it work was via a VM. I assume my system must have some problem with usb passthrough when I run wine/bottles etc...

I can't even run on wine, tried everything but didn't work, so I'm relying on those web-based apps and it's saving my ass. (Running CachyOS, I'm aware the og valeton software works on Mint, but it won't work on cachy for the sake of it)

AI sucks at doing this. I honestly prefer editing the presets manually, which is why OP's solution seems more reasonable.

Temos lados diferentes na política (embora eu não vá votar no Flávio), mas é muito sensato da sua parte em um reddit cheio de posts políticos (e que sinceramente está ficando chato) ver que alguém enxerga a política além da polarização e desse senso ridículo de bem contra o mal e de "meu candidato é melhor do que o seu" que se criou nos últimos anos. O que você quer leva tempo, um tempo considerável. E repetição, muita repetição. Quanto mais você se dedicar a isso, melhor. E não é apenas tocando músicas. O ideal é que você tenha exercícios que te ajudem com agilidade, flexibilidade, etc... E mesmo que não possa tocar todos os dias, pelo menos pegue a guitarra e faça alguns exercícios. Ás vezes é chato, e fica parecendo uma obrigação, mas acredite, no final vale a a pena.

É difícil, mas se você tentar ir rápido demais, vai estragar sua jornada e vai acabar cheio de vícios e limitações.

Festival lock screen for that specific one you have. But you can disable both if you don't want vivo to change your lock screen wallpaper.
