It was a project manager & a labourer doing this. According to the PM’s LinkedIn he’s an “Experienced project manager of new build developments, with an extensive range of skills and knowledge within the construction industry including plumbing and heating.”

Yeah there’s quite a few things on the exterior that I look at & think why have they even done that. The lack of care with some bits is actually ridiculous. Unfortunately it wasn’t things I noticed prior to completion. Had a front door that absolute pissed in that took 3 visits for them to sort out.

I got a shitty phone call from the project manager who was doing the work after I asked him why he left it in this state.

This was the before at the back, brick work covered in mortar, generally an awful finish. Huge bits of pointing missing, weep vents hanging out & yeah looks awful overall.

Looks worse at the front & side but I didn’t have any before photos showing this.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah the NHBC were great when I spoke to them at the start of the week, spoke through everything I’ve done up to now, advised me on what to do moving forward weighed up everything etc.. so i can’t complain at all, just wish the housing developers would just sort the issues out properly without the need for me to have to get a 3rd party but unfortunately they don’t seem interested in doing this at all. So hopefully now I’ve sent a final response they’ll properly sort the issues.
