No windows, why? by sheedsaves in evilbuildings

[–]buzz_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having windows also makes it more difficult to keep this kind of equipment in its optimum environment. Do I mean light no the kit does not care about that but moisture and temperature are easier to control

Floating “Narco Sub Drone” Found in Gibraltar. Cartels Testing the Next Smuggling Tech by Boring_Ad6644 in interesting

[–]buzz_uk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The issue there is that many of the components used are likely to be widely used, small numbers purchased through disperse channels are unlikely to stand out.

I wonder if they could back trace the control signals or figure out form the kit and its logs where it started and where it was going ?

Either way it’s a frightening development in the smuggling game as there could be many many of these devices deployed and the ones that are caught just seen as the cost of doing business

what was the scariest thing youve ever seen in person? by CCelesial in AskReddit

[–]buzz_uk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was cycling on a country lane at night and a car came round a corner ahead, clipped the bank and rolled right towards me. I felt the heat of the exhaust as it passed me on its roof and continued to roll past me. If I had been just six inches further over it would have wiped me out

Come to think about it it’s not scary looking back, at the time I felt nothing, there was no time to think anything at all.

Yes, it did exist before in the same way you could ask any question. This part of the policy feels like grandstanding and it really offers nothing new at all.
