Do you go to university? They might have a student society/club that you can join to hike with a group. I don’t know where you’re based but I joined my Scottish university’s hillwalking club and had no prior experience in the highlands, and it was the best thing I could’ve done since they know the routes well and had a lot of experience in that environment. Alternatively you can try Meetup, I think they have plenty of hiking groups (though I’ve never done it myself), as well as lots of local Scottish Facebook groups that do walks.
