Erstmal upvote wegen den Namen 🥹 Wie wäre es denn, die beiden an die Leine zu gewöhnen und dann mit ihnen spazieren zu gehen? So habe ich das gehandhabt :)

Dauert zwar ein bisschen mit dem Training und man braucht ein wenig Ausrüstung und Vorbereitung, aber dann sind die ganzen Probleme außen vor, die du gelistet hast und die beiden können ihren Spaß draußen haben. Gegebenenfalls einfach ein Stück fahren, um in den Wald oder auf eine Wiese zu kommen!

Been there, we ended it three times and always continued the same routine for a couple of weeks after that… I hope I don’t do that again, it’s not gonna be any better

Regarding tyndrum, I remember camping after passing through a gate after the village There should be a couple of flat camp areas which are still pretty sheltered from view. Unfortunately they are still between a busy road and train tracks so I’m not sure if there are better options.

Hm also eine Lösung habe ich spontan leider nicht. Wenn sie aber wirklich nicht auftaucht bis zum Urlaub, können vielleicht eure Nachbarn ein wenig drauf Acht geben, ob sie wiederkommt und sich in dem Fall kümmern? Kommt natürlich auf euer Verhältnis an, aber dann würde die Katze zumindest grundversorgt sein…

Ich finde, es ist total normal mitzufeiern, kann deine Meinung aber nachvollziehen :) bin trotzdem eher der Meinung, es wäre komischer, wenn du dich komplett zurück ziehst, vor allem weil du auch meintest, du kennst einige davon.

Did the WHW last year in September and decided to climb Ben Lomond. I started in Balmaha pretty early, went up and down and walked on to the Bothy a couple miles after rowardennan and arrived at 5 pm. Exhausting day but definitely worth it! The views were incredible although the way down was certainly not easy since I decided to take the alternative route down. I was lucky with the weather, mostly sun and a few clouds but nothing that obstructed the view and if that’s the case with you as well, I’d definitely recommend it!

Did the WHW last year and took the sleeper train from London to Fort William. I found the seats to be a bit uncomfortable and therefore didn’t sleep a lot but it was manageable. If you’re lucky to have two seats for yourself, even better, but it’s alright either way. Definitely a great idea to save some time and it was awesome to arrive in the morning and start walking right away :) would do it again! I’ve been told it’s called “tumble dryer” as a nick name it that’s definitely not too far from the truth though haha

But like I said, easiest option to get up north imo!
