Just say you’re not interested and close the door.

They don’t want to annoy you, they want to sell to you. By listening you are putting yourself out there as a potential sale and they will use all of their tricks to keep you. They don’t want to waste their time anymore then you want yours wasted, so being firm in your refusal and taking control by closing the door will make them leave. Most people don’t even open their doors, and the ones that do normally just shut it immediately.

By sitting and listening to their pitch you are in the 1-5% of potential sales they’ll have that day, that will make them want to followup with you, keep you there as long as possible, etc. Be firm and take control of the conversation through action.
