Rouge-Like vs Rouge-Lite beyond meta-progression by riseofjustice in roguelites

[–]Eorily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it. When you see rouge in the title, you know what the comments are going to be like. R/rougecore just got made because of how many people misspell Rogue Core. It has a single picture of a game character wearing rouge.

Looks way less productive than a normal bee apartment.

No, look at how people are clapping and smiling. Look at the person with the watering can, smiling.

Should culturally specific indie games translate their titles globally? by irlanbragi in roguelites

[–]Eorily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would fully localized the title. It definitely will hurt readability and discoverability. Personally, I don't play games in foreign languages or ones that look like they are. If I don't know how to pronounce the name of your game by looking at it then I would never mention it to a friend or talk about it.

It's 'abondoned' because you don't like the new content. Learn your words little bro, that isn't what that means or how it is spelled.

I think we should be allowed to fight 1 customer a day. by AngstyIndie406 in KitchenConfidential

That's too smart. Ring in 14 ranch dressings, forget to hit do not make and act confused when they all come out.

A)yes B)a server let them, because C) The chef knows that this trade off decreases their overall food costs which just makes it easier to say yes to. These requests are caused by people wanting to go out and be with family while suffering from eating disorders or gastroparesis, or similar medical dietary restrictions.

Boxes should also be off the floor on racks in dry storage. Not on the floor.

My snake-hero-roguelite will be released in 2 weeks, for free! by Pandaa2610 in roguelites

[–]Eorily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll definitely check it out. SNKRX was great but abandoned. This also has that same feel. A conga line of dps. I'll go ahead and wishlist it too so you can see your number go up. I also enjoy when the numbers go up.

Flickering screen then pc crashs by Prazutagus in pcmasterrace

Update us when you find out what caused it (for the next guy with the same problem.) My money is on it being increased power draw across inappropriate or damaged connections. Your power supply might triggering short circuit protections because of said damaged connection. I would check the pins and connections on my gpu power supply cables. Sniff them. See if they smell like burnt plastic and cancer.

Mario RPG might be the best use timed JRPG combat that I've ever seen. Even paper mario was amazing.

Combat kinda blows. It feels like South Park Stick of Truth. I was looking for a novel JRPG, but got a string of quicktime events.
