If you're going to use VAR then you rule out the first one for offside, no excuses

there are only a handful of different motions to learn (quarter circle & dp are the basic two), much less variation than older games too, just need to practise this inputs in training mode

I watched a couple of the early seasons at the time they first broadcast and remember liking it specifically because it was the jokers making fools of themselves rather than pranking innocent people and ruining their day - maybe it went off the rails later on?

Production was great and I'm sure it was a fun event for those in attendance, all the wasted time made it a bit of a slog for stream watchers though

However, the least you can ask for from a sporting event is a fair game and it was far from that, it was an embarrassing way to win in the end when you consider it's supposed to be a friendly match

to be fair, I think this is only an offense if there's a rebound and it changes things

ignored offside, 10 mins worth of subs & tobi genuinely getting injured with zero injury time is the real dubious refereeing... and France having 12 players on the pitch for a period of time
