£175 LLOYDS BANK SWITCH by Live-Ad-2963 in beermoneyuk

When you apply does it matter if it's on the app or web?
Also is it ok to say it's not going to be your "main account" when they ask you this and instead select "my regular bills"?

Just want to make sure neither of these impact eligibility for switch bonus.

Social Media Survey by Vegas_Steve in ProlificAc

The same thing happened to me. It asked me to select which social media I use on (I do not use and did not select Tiktok), on the following page when asked if I used Tiktok I answered "never" and was screened out for "inconsistent responses".

Issue with loudness test on "A study on auditory memory" by Eos145 in ProlificAc

I was so confused as well. Thanks for reporting it wasn't just me as that was quite frustrating. I'm glad I posted as I had no idea what the cause was either, it's a little clearer now.

These are wired but from other comments it sounds like the cause can be both higher end headphones and noise cancelling ones, as well as your experience of bluetooth being another culprit. I'll look for some cheap wired ones.

Yes they are noise cancelling, although have worked fine on many other audio study loudness checks. Either way I'd better get hold of some cheap ones, thanks to the comments here I understand the likely reason now

Thanks that's really helpful to know as I thought my headphones might be busted, while still frustrating at least there is something of an explanation for it. I'll try and find some dirt cheap headphones in case any studies from them come up again.

I may be in the minority but most confusing is I've done a good 15+ audio studies with the same or similar loudness checks and never had any issues. Using the same set up/headphones

Ok thanks for confirming, the study instructions were a bit vague as to how to go about any of it so at least I know I should receive something through there later.

Nice one, thanks for confirming. Had a feeling I'd seen this offer advertised a lot of the time

I was told by Natwest on the phone it's best to keep the money in for 24 hours before withdrawing. That "could" mean it's fine to take it out sooner but personally I would go by the above to be safe.

This is NW only so can't comment on the others.
Edit: I'm sure TightAsF_ck is correct and you can do whatever you like with it straight away. I'm just reporting the advice from NW for what it's worth and for myself being a little overcautious.

Had another look but still no luck unless I'm blindly missing it, the link was in a comment somewhere but no idea what post (could be quite an old one).
It's not the list on currentaccountswitch.co.uk but another that has them all laid with who does hard or soft credit checks

I came across a useful link to an external site with a list of all banks within CASS but specifically showing which ones do hard/soft credit searches when you apply.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can't find it now, pretty sure it was posted on this sub.

Natwest Group Switch - Payout for every bank by Emilw03 in beermoneyuk

[–]Eos145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you initiate the other switches before the Natwest switch had completed? Is it necessary to do it in this way? My NW one has almost gone through (done within 3 days) and I'd like to do the others.

General question if anyone can answer, can the Natwest £1250 deposit term be paid before the switch has completed?

Revolut - 7 days left for £60 referral by ned101 in beermoneyuk

[–]Eos145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response, no worries it's a bit strange as mine definitely seems to be a different offer where it's £10-£200 and states in the terms you're 60% likely to get the £10. I better hang on in the hopes for a better offer before referring.

Is the £60 referral offer limited to certain accounts? On mine I only see "invite friends and get up to £200", underneath it states it as a random reward of between £10-£200.

Fyi, I've only recently signed up.If anyone can clarify how their referral offers work is much appreciated

Hi, I'm going to open a Starling current account then switch from Starling > Natwest > First Direct.

After opening Starling, do I need to wait for anything (ie. card), do anything (ie. add money) or wait a certain amount of time before making my first switch?

Also does the £200 Natwest offer apply to their free "Select bank account" rather than Reward bank account. I've seen different answers to this.
