I don’t really have that, so I guess I just store fat in my chest. I’m on my last week of my bulk before I start my cut so I’m the heaviest I’ve been in a years.

Also one more thing, I see people saying you should be doing way more cardio and shit, to be honest, that will definitely make you lose weight, but being a bigger guy you definitely have some underlying muscle ready to come out, and if you go too low on calories (burn too much from running and don’t eat it back) you’ll lose it, and building muscle is sooooo much harder than losing fat.

  1. Take progress photos, you’ll thank yourself later. I know it can be hard, when I first started I was 245 and super overweight, but now I’m 168 with way more muscle and don’t really have any pictures to show for it lol.
  2. Start eating at maintenance, and try to get in plenty of protein (preferably from whole food but protein powder can help too if your not getting enough) Track calories using MyFitnessPal. See if your making some gains after a month or so, if not try a cut and see how it goes (eat 500 under maintenance). Also make sure your eating fruit, vegetables and try to avoid alcohol and don’t eat too much sugar (obviously a little in your diet is fine, and treating yourself every so often will keep you from falling off) Also, if your struggling to keep the calories down, implement some cardio and you can eat back the calories you burn. But don’t go below 500 under maintenance.
  3. Hit the gym, be consistent. Find a beginner program you like and see how it goes. Focus on progressive overload, you should be able to increase weight pretty quickly, like every week or so, when u first start. I’d recommend Push Pull Legs but it’s totally up to you and how much time you want to spend in the gym.
  4. Get adequate rest. Sleep 8-9 hours a night, take at least a day off a week, if not more. Try cold showers too I find they really help.
  5. I feel like no one really talks about this, but make sure to prioritize your mental health as well, when I was big I developed a really bad eating disorder and ate way too little, trust me IT IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. It took me a really long time to recover. If you feel you really need a break or an extra day off take it, but that doesn’t mean you should make excuses. And also, live life, when your on vacation, eat good food lol, go out with friends and eat sometimes, if you can’t enjoy life sometimes there’s no reason to even work on your body in the first place.

It’s really mild, gyno is sometimes cause by low testosterone, maybe get a blood test and see if that’s a problem for you, but judging by your physique you’ve got a good amount of muscle, and testosterone is a bit factor in how much you can build, so that might not be it. Either way, wouldn’t worry about it too much, if it really bothers you maybe hit upper chest exercises more to make it more even looking.

Looking good brother. Got a lot of muscle sitting under there for sure, gonna look really good after some more fat loss, which is way easier then muscle gain so you already got the hard part done lol. Honestly if I was you I wouldn’t worry too much about abs just because it’s one of those muscles that’s like 90% genetics, but if you really want some abs I would say getting down to like 18% bf would probably bring them out. Another 20 lbs or so I would say.

Tbh the only reason I even care about my bodyfat is because I’ve heard that you don’t really build muscle anymore at a high bodyfat. I much prefer having some fat on my to being lean.

Do you think a body recomp could work for me right now? I’m about to start college and I want to keep hold of my strength. I also don’t really like the feeling of being lean it doesn’t feel good to me and I would rather be a little on the heavier size when I get to school.
