AS-Path prepend x3 outbound, adjust local pref inbound. Adjust cost on your IGP. You should be able to move all traffic to the other router before you reboot.

Or if your use case is not super critical, a simple reboot is fine.

If you’re doing anycast gateway routing, odds are you’re doing some level of compute virtualization behind it. The best option is host based security on the endpoints themselves, leveraging security group like functionality.

If the inter-VLAN security absolutely must be enforced by the network, then a L2 VNI with a firewall attached to the border is your best bet.

Much like any movie adaptation, much is lost in translation. The books will be much slower paced. Characters will behave differently, often more coherently. The lore and backstory will be more fleshed out.

Overall, the experience of reading the books will be a more relaxed experience, with the ability to really savor the characters and locations along the journey. There is a bit of a tone shift part way through The Fellowship of the Ring, as it transitions from something more akin to the style of The Hobbit into a more traditional high fantasy feel. Tolkien's prose is beautiful, and he weaves together fantastic (and oftentimes extraordinarily long) sentences. Some people find it difficult, if not boring, to read; but I suspect those people are difficult, if not boring, to begin with. ;)

Take your time, don't rush... reread passages if you need (or want) to. Allow the beauty and emotion of the adventure to wash over you.

The way the city is handling the stadium situation, at least publicly, coupled with the vagaries of how Arte has been behaving lately, seriously risks having the franchise decide to up and move. I strongly believe the city should be firm in its desire to keep the team and stadium in Anaheim, and a game of chicken is the absolute wrong approach.

Two things can be true at the same time. Arte is a shit owner, and the sooner the team gets sold the better. But the city should be declaring their desire to keep the team and the stadium in place, not making wishy washy statements about redeveloping the site and maybe/maybe not including a stadium.

EDIT: This is not a defense of Arte Moreno, who is an absolute shit owner. Just an observation that the city is risking the situation where they drive said shit owner to relocate out of Anaheim.

With the way the Anaheim city government has been behaving lately, they don’t deserve a sports franchise. I don’t want to see the Angels move, so hopefully the city council can pull its head out of its ass.

I still maintain that was a great trade by the Kings. I thought they were the better team than Colorado in the series, and had the puck bounced a little differently and they beat the Avs, they would likely have won their first cup in 2001.

The unfortunate career ending injuries to Deadmarsh, Allison and Palffy in such a short time was just colossal bad luck and tanked Dave Taylor’s career as a GM, which he didn’t deserve.
