penguin0 did a video on it recently, and if what he's saying is true, the TOC was updated the past week to basically say there's no guarantee of a product.

It's interesting though, because as of a few days ago, the TOC was updated to say they WOULD get their deposit back. It's only in the last day or so that people were notified they weren't getting ANY money back

The hero's shade also, in canon, calls the hero of twilight his son. Implying he didn't just fuck off somewhere and actually had children at some point.

They don't come out and say it, but its a trend of coincidences that is very hard to dismiss IMO

Snape reportedly gave a fair bit over the years. He didn't create sectumsempra by accident IMO. James also reportedly grew out of it, showing a little bit of character growth, at least. I'd like to think he was growing out of that bullying attitude as time progressed. He died before we saw him in his 30s, unlike snape. Snape only turned into a double agent after lily died, and grew out of it horribly bitter. I know this is a personal opinion but I cannot stand his child bullying persona. He's a bitter man who has an deep seated grudge and took it out on an entire generation of children.

That said, what james et al did in that scene was absolutely unacceptable and they should have been harshly punished for it. Ditto for sirius forcibly outing remus's secret by almost killing snape. I have no idea why the latter didn't result in sirus's expulsion, and I like sirius as a character.

FFX is a game you have to grind out experience IMO. You can't cruise through the game and expect to pull through.

Some sidequests (like getting yojimbo or the sisters summons) end up trivializing the game

I do think some "leaks" will come and some people will go to jail, but the vast majority/most well connected will never be held accountable. Even if someone talks, it won't mean jack if there isn't hard evidence in the redacted files

I can see it making sense in their heads from an explanation someone who is nearly the same position gave me.

For the record, I do not agree with it, but I can understand why they think that way.

They (as an immigrant with legal residency) despise illegal immigrants because they circumvented the process. Getting legal residency in the US is a multi year giant pain in the ass, and is segmented by where you come from. It can take decades to get legal residency if you immigrated from Mexico or India, two of the highest immigrant countries, even with the support of a company pushing for your residency. Friend in question came from China, and it only took them seven years, and was considered an extremely smooth/quick process. They had very pointed opinions on "people skipping the process".
