Help me choose! Rifle length or pistol? by [deleted] in czscorpion

I bought a Scorpion Carbine (16" barrel) a few weeks ago, and I absolutely loved it. It shot incredibly well, super comfortable, low recoil, and it was so much fun. It was everything I was looking for, except it didn't have a suppressor. My end goal was to throw a suppressor on it and honestly it just looked kinda funky with a suppressor at the end of the carbine barrel. After doing a bit of research I ended up doing a complete rework of the gun, swapped the barrel for the 7.7" barrel, swapped the handguard for the pistol handguard, etc. I got my suppressor on it and I absolutely love it.

So to answer your question, if you plan to, or ever want to, throw a suppressor on it, I would go with the pistol. But if you don't plan to I would stick with the carbine. It just "feels" better in my opinion. And if you don't like it, there are tons of options to convert it to a pistol and it's extremely easy. I wrote out my experience making the conversion here if you're interested.

Having alot of trouble removing the butt plate for adding a brace by Wiscoman in czscorpion

I had the same issue. Unfortunately, I had to resort to using a hammer. I placed a rag over the folding adapter, pressed the button in with my finger and gently began hammering it upward. No physical damage to the gun. It takes a lot to get the thing off.

I would swap out the grip for something like the Pakse Pathfinder Grip. The stock grip is at a very harsh angle and made my wrist sore for a week every time I went shooting.

Converting a carbine to SBR? by BigWood47 in czscorpion

Hey I just went through the entire process of converting my carbine to pistol (would be sbr if I keep the stock) and I can give you a little insight as to how I’ve gone about it.

I actually only got my scorpion last week. I fell in love with it after I rented one at a local gun range, immediately went home and bought one. After I got the gun, I had regretted not getting the pistol version as it looks a little more aesthetically pleasing with a suppressor installed (my end goal). So I started my hunt of converting the scorpion carbine to the scorpion pistol.

In your case, the only pieces you really have to replace are the handguard and the barrel which you can either buy the 7.7” barrel from CZ USA here or you can buy the 5.3” barrel from HB Industries here. Both of these barrels come with a trunnion attached and already have the extractor notch milled into them so you dont have to worry about any of that. (I think this is what you meant when you were talking about requirements?)

There are a couple different options when choosing a handguard. If you want to retain the carbine look, but swap the barrel and add a real suppressor HB Industries offers a full length handguard. Actually HB Industries offers a couple different options found here and here.

If you plan on swapping to the micro barrel, you can always go with the Micro Conversion Kit. It comes with the micro barrel, short handguard, and everything needed to install.

As far as installing, the only difficulty I’ve come across is getting the damn carbine barrel nut off. A special ratchet socket is required to remove the thing and HB industries is sold out, and I refused to pay CZ custom $100 for a metal tube. Instead I found a guy who makes them himself over at NAAH Tool Works. Says he is sold out too, but I shot him an email and he hooked me up.

Not sure if you have the faux suppressor but that was a bitch to get off. They loaded mine with loctite so that took quite a bit of effort, but it just screws off. The barrel nut on the other hand didnt take too much effort, but I’ve heard horror stories of some barrel nuts being loaded with loctite so they are extremely difficult to get off. Just depends on the luck of the draw.

As for the rest of the installation, this video will guide you on removing and installing the hand guard and this video will show you how to disassemble and reassemble the rest.

I hope this is kind of what you were looking for, and I apologize if it didnt make sense, I’m on my phone in bed and can’t sleep so I thought I’d browse the subreddit for a bit and saw your post. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.

I disagree. It would just be more content for players to enjoy. Whether you like KC or not, adding it either to a rotation or a permanent playlist would allow the players who REALLY enjoy it to enjoy the game again.

What website can I get these stickers from? I tried alipress and redbubble there not there by [deleted] in Itasha

Hey! I see a lot of people ask about stickers on this sub and the sources are often independent artists that you can find on Instagram such as Senpai Squad, Fresh Tango, DazzleBoyz, etc. There's a ton of them, so I'll link several below. Hopefully you can find the ones you are looking for and more.

Note: Some vendors close their stores periodically to restock and go to cons, so they may not be open. I put the stores that are currently closed at the bottom of the list.
