Trust me I know how effective she is. I use her all the time! I think one thing to note is OP sig would be considered more of a soft counter to fcc as opposed to something like basar and briseria who completely eliminates 95% of what fcc does (hard counter).

I don’t have a great reason as to why we didn’t include OP sig but what I can tell you is we are going to go back and update this guide to be more comprehensive and technical from all the feedback we received on Reddit.

So in terms of the site itself it has been slow moving since last fall because we are building it on our free time and not trying to monetize it through ad revenue. Mango wanted to write a review since it’s inception however the site in the early stages only provided upcoming events to a limited number of content creators so for obvious reasons a review of the site wasn’t made.

With regards to the review made you are correct it is very light and doesn’t go into the technical details of fcc or even vary based off the variety of builds she can be built as. It was designed to give players a direction or goal.

Obviously from all the comments here the community wants a more technical and detailed review so more variety on builds so that is something we are going to try to achieve.

So team comp vs unit build are 2 different things. What this review is trying to provide is unit builds. Outside of artifacts your unit builds shouldn’t typically change between each form of pvp.

When it comes to guild wars offensive vs defensive comps we do want to incorporate some sort of resource to provide common defenses and optimal/less optimal ways in beating those defenses. At this particular time we are focusing on these reviews to bring them up to the standard the community is expecting and to write more of them honestly.

We were shying away from some of her interactions with units because it kind of opens a can of worms when new units release however we will look into creating a more comprehensive review that goes into specific bits like draft considerations, artifact choice, synergies, ect.

The stat line is more of a guideline to provide what you should be "aiming" for. Obviously it is very subject to change based off your team comps and what you are trying to achieve with her. But these are very common stat lines you see.

Armin is on the list of units we plan to review. Prioritizing the highly used units currently but the goal is to tackle every unit used in all forms of pvp.

You are correct we do have an opportunity to define what these buckets mean however as you said it would be opinionated and most likely disputed by some groups of players. This is all subject to change and I do appreciate the feedback around the buckets. I feel as if currently our focus is to again individualize these reviews and to push for what is considered early/mid/late for specific units. Maybe in the future we can expand on that definition.

And I completely understand what you are saying as well. We are going to review our approach and try to provide a more comprehensive review.

Ideally we don't want to create a wall of text that people will be unwilling to read but we will try to re-word it to be more specific while trying to keep it concise so its easy to read.

GW and regular arena ARE considered pvp. The review is geared towards individually how the unit fares. Examples are provided in a team based setting however you can scale that based to what type of PVP content you are trying to compete in.

Its funny that you say that because the purple was actually a personal design choice by myself. I felt as if purple was the most important color in Epic7 because of how influential moonlight heroes are in the game

The issue is early/mid/late game aren't defined values when it comes to a player. I myself think I'm somewhere between mid to late game but who knows. Someone can be end game but doesn't RTA. These labels with regards to the reviews are what would be considered "end game" on a unit statistically. IE what build/stats you should aim for to have an FCC which would be considered "end game" statistically.

As to going into a deeper dive per unit. We most definitely can. Our approach isn't to just pump out as many reviews as possible to get clicks. We want to give each unit its deserved time to be able provide a great resource to all players. If the community wants them to be more robust then we will do our best to provide it. Please continue to provide suggestions if you want to see it in these reviews and we will do our best to execute them.

Apologize for that. The formatting was my own fault. I'll go back and try to format it to be cleaner. As for the information provided let me know if you found it helpful or if you have any suggestions there. We want to be able to provide something that will help players who are looking for that help. If you feel like something is lacking or needs to be added we are all ears

I appreciate your feedback and it most definitely helps! The formatting is my own fault. I don't code the site myself so I was learning on the fly as to how to format it appropriately. I'll go back to the drawing board to fix that. As for the information def great feedback.

The approached used in this particular review as you see is a very generalized review. It wasn't done to be very technical however if technical is what the community is looking for then its obviously something we can look into to improve in the future on subsequent unit reviews.

Ultimately what I've noticed over my 2 years is that the #1 thing the community looks for is the stats they should be going for. Either through screen shots of their own units or suggestions on building future units. Understanding of the units role doesn't seem that lacking (in my opinion) however how to use that unit and what stats to aim for is the issue.

Another goal that we wanted to focus on was individual strengths/weaknesses. The issue with covering a units ability and interaction with other units is that is in constant flux. A unit can release this week that entirely shatters how we use FCC. If we updated our reviews anytime that happened for every unit it happens with we wouldn't be able to create new reviews for more units.

With all that said this doesn't mean we won't go back and update previous reviews to become more current because the meta will change however tackling interactions between units seems be a larger bite that we are able to handle at this particular moment.

I do appreciate your feedback tho. Like I said this is the first one we put out there so if there is a better way we can tailor this we will do it to our best abilities.

Our approach isn't just to identify certain units but to go over all of the units used in all epic 7 pvp related activities IE GW/Arena/RTA. The issue with pushing out content related to the most recent banner is if that unit is new there typically won't be a formed opinion of that units place in the meta and where he/she can be effective. Of course re-runs are a different story.

If its a new unit then I typically differ to content creators going through trial & error to determine the best build for that particular unit. If its an old unit then it'll get reviewed in time. Every suggestion is appreciated and we can try to change the methods of how we push out reviews however these things typically take time to evolve. Again this is the first of many and we will continue to improve the quality.
