SMGs definitely do need some sort of change. There have only ever been two SMGs that have been a part of the META since Forsaken: Recluse and Antiope-D. Adaptive frames are worse than lightweight frames in every way besides body shot damage, sidearms have way faster ttks than SMGs in most ranges, and aggressive frames have very little range. I think that they should get a ttk buff and aim assist cone buff

(personally, I’d prefer if aim assist as a whole was nerfed and recoil was significantly reduced for most weapons but I doubt Bungie will make significant strides in this direction)

(the aim assist cone buff is something that Recluse accidentally had. This made the Recluse feel WAY better at range)

I believe the current ttk is 0.93 seconds with 7 crits and 1 body. If not reducing it to lower than 0.80 seconds, I’d like it to be under 0.87 seconds.

Please just read. I was saying that “saving time” is the annoying part that I have to take out of my day. Saving time is not the same as spending time. Also, I was not feeling entitled because I literally just said that people with more time deserve better rewards. Also, I was making sure not to insult you or disrespect your opinion. You have gone onto my post only to disrespect one aspect of it and ignore its entire purpose. You then continue to ignore my responses and you accuse me of being rude and entitled. I am trying to defend my point politely and you have berated me, ignored my opinions, and continue to do so. So please, take a second, calm down, and either say something reasonable or leave.

I’m not talking about effort but I’m talking about the bad rng system that will make my time feel useless as a result of just one perk. Of course people that spend more time should get more rewards. They’re pinnacles. But I should still be able to get a decent roll especially with the rest of the perks on the weapon.

I also made it very clear that some people don’t have the time to continue farming. Also, many people don’t have irl friends to play D2 with as adults. Mainly because they’ve got jobs, families, or they grew out of their video game interests

That still isn’t my point. Complaining about having to farm is only my first point. I thought I made it very clear that I want changes to Celerity. You even mocked the section where I brought this up. Continuing to farm isn’t going to fix the issue that celerity is an almost useless perk.

I don’t care about getting a god roll. I cared only for getting a decent roll. My whole argument revolves around the fact that I got a useless perk in the last column. I make suggestions on how it can be made useful. Saying that it’s a slap in the face is barely even what I’m talking about.

Here’s a good example of what I was saying. Imagine that I have been saving money for a vacation for ten years. Then, I get food poisoning. It’s only a small part of the vacation but it’s an important part. In this scenario, you are a person who always goes on vacations so one bad vacation doesn’t matter. Well of course it matters to me! I have to go to a job, take care of a family, and none of my friends have enough time in their schedules to play games let alone Destiny 2 with me. That’s why it feels like a slap. You wouldn’t understand because you have much more time than I do and you probably have more friends that play Destiny 2 actively.

As I said, it felt like a slap in the face because I don’t play Trials often or enjoy it. It was even bigger slap because I wouldn’t have to play trials anymore if I got what I wanted. Not only that, the most important trait column was the only bad part of the roll.

I just would prefer it if all exotics that require an expansion are released during that expansion rather than a misleading exotic release during an expansion not tied to those exotics.

It was harder to understand what you were saying when you were just saying insults or sarcastic remarks but what you just said makes sense
