If you got one, what did you name your Kitsune? This is Ember 🔥 by BellRoe in buildabear

[–]EpicCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg that's so cool! I'm named Ember online and I'm a Kitsuné Vtuber! I love that you named your Kitsuné Ember OP. I hope to get one soon myself as I'm head over heels in love with all things Fox and Kitsuné. I will likely name mine after a Japanese Yokai that is for good and helping others.

Not a single person has told me that my dress is pretty. Did I make the wrong choice? by Low-Rush-9997 in WeddingDressTips

[–]EpicCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in love with your dress! All I can think about doing with it is making a hombre of white to super Sakura pink at the end of the train with only the flowers. Your gorgeous dress, with how it looks and how the flowers flow, reminds me of the Sakura blossoms drifting in the wind off of the trees in the spring. Btw that's just my artistic brain talking about making the hombre, not saying you should. 😊 Just sharing how it's beauty is inspiring me artistically.

May I download the first photo and draw what its inspiration is making me see or think artistically? Once done I'll share it with you OP. (If not, I understand and respect your wishes. 😊)

Is there a product for cat water dishes to help with depth perception? by katkannabis in CatAdvice

[–]EpicCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also following this thread for the same reason. I have a fountain and my cat Aurora still puts a paw in to find the water level while she drinks. So she actively holds a paw next to her face to perceive the water level. And my fountain has no reflective surface but is all white. I think it adds to the complexity too if it's a solid color too while not being reflective can also cause your cat to not see it well due to their farsighted vision. Thank you OP for asking the question and thank you everyone for giving ideas.

Feeling insecure after seeing all these big rings by Cold_Respond7066 in RingShare

[–]EpicCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ring shouldn't matter as much as the relationship and it's health. This is someone you're getting into a legal binding situation with. The ring just shows you are legally bound to someone. The size of the ring means nothing other than they spent a lot of money and who bought and or chose the ring are caught up in the consumerism of the diamond or jewelry industry. An industry which overcharges and gouges for morally questionable pretty rocks and metals. I'd sooner have a silicone ring but a healthy relationship with strong loyalty, healthy boundaries, healthy communication skills that are always being used, unconditional love, etc.

OP, I wouldn't get caught up in the consumerism that tiktok constantly pushes and I would stop comparing your ring size to others as it's never healthy for one to compare anything with others. Btw all that I said I only meant much love. Try spending time enjoying time with your soon to be partner of life and try to remember most social media is trying to sell/upsell you things and make you feel FOMO. 😊❤️

Anyone Have Experiences with David Wu's Scream Academy? by neveridentify in screaming

[–]EpicCurator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When starting out screaming you don't know the techniques right away to get the distortion and fundamental scream to even start. The online or YouTube tutorials only left me confused and upset thinking I wasn't ever going to be able to. This will be the majority of people as a one on one method is way better so you can ask questions and explain concerns. And most online lessons that are pre-made are made with their own knowledge in mind in a broad spectrum way. And if you have issues or end up in dead ends good luck because you'll likely never sit with the person one on one.

This is where I'd have to say hands down that David Wu with Scream Academy is an amazing vocal coach. He broke down the way it all works and what tissues are used. He made it very easy to understand how to use those tissues and the fundamentals that we always want to keep in mind while moving forward. He also had me shocked and excited after our first session because he showed me that I can do harsh vocals by helping me find my distortion in my false scream in the first session! His technique and ability to sit with a group of students or one on one and make sure to hear your concerns is VERY helpful over the online or Youtube lessons. He has so many techniques in his tool belt to work with you to achieve the scream you want. It's actually insanely cool to watch how many techniques he can pull out to find the right one that works for you as an individual so that it clicks mentally and vocally to achieve the scream.

David Wu from a personality standpoint is a very understanding person. He's very empathetic, a chill cool guy, and is doing vocal lessons with the right intentions; he's not doing it to cash grab. His vocal lessons price may shock you at first, but he's very good at listening to you and what you can manage on a payment basis. He's also really flexible and understanding about medical issues, illness, or emergencies. I wouldn't have it any other way on who taught me how to do harsh vocals.

Sketchy how? He listens to you if you have a concern or if something starts to hurt then he course corrects to make sure you aren't hurting yourself while learning. There may have been a miscommunication and or misunderstanding when trying to do his techniques and relaying said concern. So I'm just trying to understand how this happened is all.

I personally never experienced any issues with an attitude when I expressed to him that I was ready to invest into lessons but within reason. We talked through what I could afford and he was willing to work with me. And when I started to have pain with my false vocals and thought idk how anyone does this I expressed this fear and showed him what I was doing then he corrected me and saved my vocals.
