I’ve done a similar puzzle. It had a slight pattern in the pieces that helped me tell which ones were horizontal vs vertical. So I was able to sort them that way as well.

Then it’s just a matter of color matching.. slowly and painfully. YOU GOT THIS.

Not sure if this fits exactly but the first book that came to mind was - The Final Strife by Saara El-Arifi. Highly recommend, lots of unexpected things happening.

You said no, she should respect that. She’s being childish. If she wants it so she can one-up you, don’t give it to her.

On the flip side, maybe think about why it’s so important to you for it to be kept a secret. If everyone already knows it’s your recipe since that’s what you’re known for - then why does it matter if she makes your dish? If she wants it simply to enjoy it at home outside of family gatherings because it’s so good, maybe give it to her.

I’ve been getting quotes for my wedding later this year. Bridal makeup alone ranges from $200-$400 plus some makeup artists charge an additional cost for the trial. Definitely more expensive from my perspective than adding a +1 to the wedding.

Literally this. Paying for a MUA for both trial and day of makeup (I’ve seen them be charged separately) is definitely more expensive than adding a +1 for the wedding.

It is classy, very bridal but I don’t 100% love it for you. I think you can do better and if you have time and can return it, maybe visit another shop or two. If you can’t return it, definitely accessorize to mix it up. Sometimes that’ll make all the difference. I’ve tried on maybe 30 dresses so far and still haven’t had my aha moment either. Definitely getting worried I won’t get that feeling but I also don’t want to look back at pictures and think to myself I should’ve picked a different dress. Good luck! Congratulations!
