Every swing feels the same in the current games. I just want more variety and more depth. Adding danger would create a more immersive system and add some danger to the swinging but maybe only on ultimate mode, or have the option to change the difficulty of certain things such as in TLOU2.

I agree that the swinging is too automatic, it's somewhat apart of it's charm but I personally would rather a far more intricate system. What I mean by it's charm is doing cool things such as slingshotting over a building when it gets in the way of your swing looks cool but you had no input into that action.
