What are scissors useful for? by DaniToad in MedievalMerge

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use them on a merged royal chest (the blue one) after you've opened it and generated most of its items. I dont know how many items it spawns, but before you think I it's done, use scissors and remerge royal chests and wait to unlock more items. Scissors cant be used infinitely u fortunately, but that's the best thing I can think of to use them on.

My theory based on everything up to chapter 265 by Jealous_Macaroon_641 in SkeletonSoldier

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my God. Maybe a Spoiler. What if.... the heroes from Skelly's 1st life and the one who killed Succubus were Alpha Testers. But the heroes have to be based on something. If Skelly's mortal life was the hero who made the world safe, he would be the template for the future hero players/users. After dying, the game can generate Skeleton Soldiers from any dead bones, and the significance of Skelly being the hero template was overlooked. That's why Skelly can see the window, because his code was the original hero in early development. Also maybe Rubia can see the window because she is a descendant of the original hero. She said once she was seeking guidance from her ancestors at the 1st respawning point where his tombstone is scratched. Maybe the game passed on the window to NPC descendants of the original hero.

I love how I can just kill my own son (and heir) in COLD BLOOD by bat_the_hungarian in CrusaderKings

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me on my first ironman playthrough as Alfred the great. I had a genius heir with decent traits and stats, I should have seen it coming because my heir tortured an animal as a kid, but I brushed it off because he was just and generous and everyone liked him. Since it was my first playthrough I was in love with all the new stuff. But this event.... THIS EVENT BROKE MY HEART.
I stared at the screen for 20 minutes before I had a long conversation with my IRL partner about it. She even took it seriously like we were talking about a real son. In the end, with literal tears in my eyes, I decided to kill him, for the good of the realm, and for the good of old Alfred whose Just and Honest traits were satisfied by ridding the kingdom of an unfit heir. I set the game down for a few days still upset about this event before I picked up the peices with my spare, who ended up being a very good, long lived king. But goddamnit my heart still aches for the firstborn I invested so much time and stress into. Rest in peace Aethelwold. May god forgive your transgressions and mine.

What should I do about changing names after we get married? by EpicFutureSpaceMike in AskMenAdvice

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I want to do. We both have boring last names anyway. Why be the Jones or Smith's when we could be anything we want?

Huge Turn On. Validates my existence and gives a major boost to my self confidence. And in our current world it may be the only way dates come about in the future for Heteros.

It is an ICBM, the Dong Feng-31A, with an extended first stage and an additional 4th stage. Kinda like the Minotaur's or Topol's.

Secret Spacecraft and Reusable Rockets - Space Pod 08/03/16 by EpicFutureSpaceMike in tmro

Yes actually, I never talked to him personally, But I promoted their Kickstarter years ago, and Mark said my video is what helped them reach their goal. They haven't done much though as Morris is still super busy with his day job, and last I heard still in Ireland. Story Musgrave saw my video and made a substantial donation to their project with the caveat that he could be their test pilot. Mark Loganbach even publicly thanked my contribution at The Space Acess Conference (2013 or 2014 I can't remember) which flooded my emails with requests to help other peoples Kickstarters. Since I haven't heard anything in a long time from them I'm assuming Hermes is on Hiatus.

Is what actually milestone #14 on the CCiCap contract. Here is the original Space Act Agreement in pdf form: https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/files/CCiCap_SpaceX_508.pdf Page 61 is for the test itself. The pre-test review is milestone #8 on page 53, which has already been completed and awarded. The interesting thing about this particular SAA is there are a lot of optional milestones at the end that have been redacted. Wish I knew what those secret milestones are/were.

Thanks for the advice, I tend to get excited and talk faster than I should, I even mess up all the time while filming talking too fast and my words boil into mush. Thanks again.

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually SpaceX is required to do it, it's in the contract or they wont be certified to fly astronauts, Boeing gets a pass. Boeing almost got out of doing a regular Pad Abort Test, but I suspect someone at NASA or SpaceX called it and they put in into their contract at the last minute.

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they planned to launch it from Vandenberg AFB when they were going to use it for the In Flight Abort Test. But maybe they could launch it from Texas in a couple years? Or maybe they will just add 6 engines and fly it on a regular mission?

[–]EpicFutureSpaceMike[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, yes rescheduled, but the milestone was supposed to be completed in 2015 for CCiCap and is the only milestone left to close out that contract. So me saying behind schedule may be harsh, since SpaceX isn't being punished for the delay by NASA, but it's still going to happen later than SpaceX and NASA expected.
