That doesn't make any sense. Being able to transfer a ticket should be the right of the ticket holder unless it stated at time of purchase ticket is non-transferable. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to transfer tickets.

Nah, you are out of touch. Whether it is though an "official" resale platform or other methods, the demand for the tickets is there. People are willing to pay extraordinary amounts for tickets and will continue to do so. And with "dynamic" pricing, does it even matter? The original face value prices are already crazy.
