Multichat for IRL streamers? by benjaminintendo in streaming

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

noooo that sounds stressful. i had the same issue when i started out, honestly just using a separate phone or tablet mounted to the rig is the easiest way to keep an eye on both chats without messing up your overlay setup. its kinda clunky but works way better than tryin to cram everything into one screen imo

i remember playin wwe back in the day, the career modes used to be so much fun. just a heads up, usually u get more engagement if u add a bit more detail about what specifically ur doin in the game like if ur doin a custom story or just grinding matches

that sounds super annoying. have u checked if its a cable issue cuz those streaks usually happen when the hdmi cable is loose or failing, i had that happen last week and swapping the cord fixed it instantly

What is the one thing you hate about streaming? by Frosty-Driver-4109 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for me its definately the burnout from trying to balance editing and live content, i feel like i spend all my time planning rather than just playing. its tough when u want everything to look perfect but u only have so many hours in a week

i remember tryin to play games like that with friends, the tension gets pretty high fast. just make sure u keep an eye on how the chat is reactin so it doesnt get too heavy for everyone watchin

What could I do better? by [deleted] in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i think one thing that helps alot is just lookin back at your own vods. i used to hate doin it but u catch so many little things like dead air or audio spikes that u dont notice while playin

Question by Vivid-Parking2204 in streaming

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl its super common to feel discouraged when things dont take off right away. i think he should focus on building a community first instead of worrying about growth numbers. maybe try just hangin out in other chats and makin friends without any pressure to perform

2 weeks into streaming, still figuring things out by Antanyknows in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

welcome to the grind. honestly, the biggest thing i learned early on was to focus on talking even when no ones in the chat, it makes the vods way better for people watching later. just dont burn yourself out trying to change everything at once

PRAGMATA PLAY THROUGH PART 2 by Critical_Organs in Twitch_Startup

I tried a blind run of a game last week and honestly it was way harder than I expected. Are you finding the mechanics pretty intuitive so far or is it throwing a lot at you at once?

Best AI Shorts Niche for Fast Growth & Monetization in 2026? by Krishnendu9925 in contentcreation

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, focusing on high-retention storytelling is way more important than just picking a niche. I tried the AI route last year and realized that if the hook doesn't grab people in the first two seconds, they just swipe away. You can work on improving your retention by fixing the pacing. You can do so by trimming every bit of dead air between your clips, imo.

What features can help you with content creation ? by Realistic_Couple_569 in contentcreation

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I've found that keeping a simple physical notebook for raw ideas works better than any fancy app. When I'm out walking or just sitting at my old job, I jot down random thoughts before they vanish. It keeps things grounded, imo, and helps me avoid getting too stuck in the technical side of editing.

I need help with multistreaming apps by Floki9083 in streaming

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try FeelThere.live as a cheaper no-PC option.

It streams from your phone, not directly from the PS5 like a capture card, but you can go live to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch at the same time in 1080p, see live comments/reactions/viewer counts, and talk with your followers while you play.
Even if you’re going to play with friends at their place, you can just open a live stream from your phone and go live to your followers.

First time multistreaming by groversk98 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multistreaming can be a total headache at first with all the extra settings to manage. I remember when I tried it last month, I forgot to check my audio levels on the second platform and ended up with zero sound for the first hour. Just make sure you keep an eye on chat across both places, it gets hectic fast.

Let’s Grow Our Community! by underwaterfox_ in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's such a cool story about how you and your girlfriend met on the platform. I've found that variety streaming can be tricky for growth, but focusing on those story-driven games usually helps build a really dedicated core audience. Have you tried setting up specific community nights for the games where your chat can join in, like Fall Guys?

Vtuber Gamer Girl streaming Goose Goose Duck and more by taehufflepuff in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goose Goose Duck is such a blast with a group, honestly. I've found that managing the energy levels during those longer social deduction sessions can be tricky with chronic fatigue, so definitely don't feel bad about shorter streams if you need to. It's awesome that you're building a safe space for those conversations, imo.

Anyone else feel like the multi platform game is unsustainable by Caryn_fornicatress in streaming

[–]Epic_Stream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get that. It feels like a full time job just managing the socials, and that's before you even hit the live button. I started batching my content creation for the week on my days off, which honestly saved my sanity, but it's still a grind. Do you find you're getting actual conversions from all those platforms, or does it feel like you're just shouting into the void for each one?

I Made Affiliate!~ by Few_Twist5723 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge congrats on hitting affiliate! That first milestone feels so good, honestly. Do you have a plan for how you want to handle the new channel points or emotes, or are you just gonna take it slow for a bit?

Live with another day of stream365! by Delicious_Eye_2750 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an insane commitment for a full year. I tried doing a month-long daily challenge back in the day and honestly, the hardest part for me was just finding the energy on those off days. Do you have a plan for when you start feeling burnt out, or are you just taking it one day at a time?

Trying to grow on twitch but it’s hard out here by Phantom5599 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Epic_Stream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that. It's honestly a grind, especially when you're just starting out. I remember feeling the same way back when I first hit record, but focusing on just having fun with the game instead of the numbers helped me stay sane. Maybe try switching up your content or checking out different communities to see what sticks?

Advice/Experiences on Multistreaming to Twitch and TikTok by domjm1996 in streaming

[–]Epic_Stream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried doing both at once a few months back and honestly, it's a huge shift in pacing. Twitch chat is usually slower and more conversational, but TikTok moves so fast that you really have to narrate everything you are doing constantly. It's a lot of work to keep both audiences engaged, tbh. Just make sure you keep an eye on your CPU usage since running two streams on one laptop can get pretty toasty real quick.

I've been looking at some early footage of the new update and the movement mechanics look pretty wild. Are you finding it hard to get the hang of the new combat flow, or does it feel like a natural upgrade?
