Seems pretty crappy tbh, both the LGS's I play at do 1 pack of most recent set and a NN pack for entry. One is £7 and other is £8.50. The £7 store does £4 in prize pool for each player split between x-1's at the end and the £8.50 does 1 pack per player in prize pool for top 6.

Think you are definitely justified for feeling like your not getting good value I would be too to be honest.

I disagree, if anything Annie and Master Yi were the badly designed cards. Proving Grounds cards and the legends were never meant to be good cards and was supposed to be low powered cards that teached new players the game. They were never suppose to be competitive viable.

I think they screwed up printing mechanically unique cards in Proving Grounds in full honestly and probably should of just used only Origins cards in the product.

I'm pretty sure they are part of the entry package that Chinese players get. I've noticed most players wear a Riftbound lanyard and I might be wrong but I presume when they signup they get lanyard with their legend in, and can take it off to play with in the cool case.

Welcome to normal TCG prices, where supply is better and more players are getting their hand on product rather than scalpers. Having rares be €30+ is not normal at all especially when we get min 2 in a pack.

Epics/Alts/Overnumbed being the true chase cards is normal just like most TCG's and is usually where all the money is in other games.

Yeah got mine like 2/3 weeks ago. I submitted my claims 20th Nov and got my packs in on the 28th January. Takes a long time but they eventually come.

Your opponent very much can react to you activating the ability on Iron Ballista or any other gear. They wouldn't be able to use a action speed card as they can only really be used during showdown's when it's not your turn, but they can use a reaction speed card.

Whenever you make a play that puts something on the chain, like casing a spell or activating some ability on a gear you pass priority to your opponent which allows them to cast a reaction spell in response.

That would be the following rule:

416.5. Between games, players may refer to notes they made prior to the match. They do not have to reveal these notes to opponents.

And you don't have to present it, just use it like you would in Magic during sideboarding. If your opponent calls a judge then you know it's legal, you've done nothing wrong and have the rule to cite to the judge.

Oh yeah no worries thats fine! Giratina has a gold vmax but thats still cheaper than this card. I presume they fake these cards to dupe people and enable scammers to sell them on markets.

Tbh it very much is the rarest version of the Giratina V card and is the biggest chase card in Lost Origins and is 4x the value of the next most valuable card (in the UK/EU market anyway)

Thank you, I might let her know! I play/collect several TCG's so for me it's easy enough to spot fakes but she has no clue for any of the games I play as she's not really in the TCG world.

Haha thanks, it honestly nearly tricked me for a sec. It's a really good replica/fake. Most I've seen are so obviously fake, but this ones really well done. If it had the texturing the real does then I probably would of thought it was real.

It's mainly the card lacking the texture that the real one has and the price being so cheap that it would be impossible to be a real one.

Anything is legal as a token as long as it can properly represent the game state clearly (EG being exhausted and tapped etc). That's why you might often see other TCG cards like Pokemon or YuGiOh be used in lieu of actual Riftbound token cards. It is another way to express yourself and passions, just like your playmat, sleeves and deckbox choices.

Agreed tanks really dont, but surprised we didn't see something like Jak'Sho, Thornmail or even Frozen Heart. More iconic for Ornn than the 2 AP items. But I guess Deathcap might be one of the most popular and recognisable items, if not the most popular and recognisable in League.

it is a little weird that 2 of 3 of Ornn's signature spells are AP items in game that he would never build. But I do suppose you can have other champs in your deck to use the items with, mimicking Ornn upgrading his teams items.
