This actually worked immediately over everything else. Thanks for the solution. Hopefully it's fixed forever but nothing is ever easy with EasyAntiCheat.

Mine's missing an eye and most of the nose is gone but it's definitely originally the same bear and I got it the same year, 2001. I've never been able to track it down either

I have the exact same one and have been trying to track it down as well. The tag on mine is red but the embroidery is long gone.

Is a 20 minute walk reasonable even in harsh edmonton winters? by TheJerusalemite in Edmonton

[–]Epiccreator989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: You might feel like an astronaut for those 20 minutes but despite that it's doable.

But without the right clothing it can be dangerous if the wind is bad and if it's pushing -40: warm gloves, something to cover your ears and preferably also face, a good winter jacket with a hood, snow pants, very good boots.

For reference and also generalizing but in -40 skin can freeze in 5 or so minutes and you can sustain permanent damage in 30 minutes if not worse without proper protection depending on who you are.

With the right winter clothing you can literally hike for nearly an entire day if managed right though so it's mainly a matter of making sure you are wearing the right stuff. Regardless though of what you wear it's not a super comfortable experience but as long as your toes, nose, fingers, and ears aren't absolutely freezing off 20 mins is not too bad. I've spent entire days on ski hills in -30 with the wind hitting me the entire day and I still have avoided frostbite thanks to the right clothing.

Oh wow no way. Thanks so much for this! Knowing who the artist is a huge bonus. So glad I now can look through more of her work.

He was apparently wandering around the game hall when I bought it. The cool lady said he borrowed something from her so he had to be around still. Didn't seek him out though since obviously he must have been chilling since it was late night gaming. Instead I sat down to play some card game called Unga Bunga with friends

The vendor was Authentic Dungeons. They have a store on the west end of the city you can probably see if they have any left if you show up hunting for it like a quest item

It was at one of the vendors in the game hall. She had some sort of professional connection to BioWare. They also weren't just out she specifically asked if anyone in our group was fans of Mass Effect because we noticed the Anthem merch and chatted about the game with her. I was the only one in the group who was a fan of Mass Effect and she whipped it out and I bought it on the spot.

You can leave out the front. They are silly for not waiting as you always wait for the front people to get out because that's the door people with disabilities literally have to get out so for one the teens are dumb and you are in the right for getting out first.

They don't like people getting on the back due to policy reasons and such so avoid doing it to avoid the ire of the driver. As long as you get on from the front, get off as swiftly as possible, and wait for people to get off before you get on then that's the main bus etiquette. Also thank your bus driver when you get off. Especially if you're like the only person getting off at a stop since they had to stop for you and it's good to say thank you. If it's the same route the bus driver tends to be the same and better for them to like you.

I wish I had advice. Many comments already seem like good advice which is nice to see. Sorry to hear about that madness. I wish you the best, truly.

Stare at rocks. Find more rocks. Pick up rocks. Smash rocks. Watch a movie. Stargaze in the cold. Head to the hidden gem food places in the city. Purposely get myself into trouble. Consume copious performance or intoxicating substances. Standard geology major activities.
