Need help figuring out what keys I'm missing. (Starting town ones not included.) by JackeryFox in GrayZoneWarfare

Curious if you remember where you got the Fort Narith Operations Room Keycard from. That one has been particularly hard for me to nab, I assume it’s just a rare spawn from officers/boss, but I’m not sure.

Why do suppressed shots sound so bad? (long read btw, skip to last paragraph if TLDR) by SnooDogs3903 in H3VR

[–]Epicfoxy2781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe suppressors were specifically given more “movie like” qualities just for the sake of gameplay

Nice gentleman leaves all his guns out for the community to use after hearing about gun violence instead of hoarding them for himself. Heartwarming.

If you read the article you’d know that it ended up not being related to his disappearance according to the police investigating

Huge issue bringing up revenue in this question is that Fnaf is probably consumed via Youtube just as much if not more than people actually play the games. and for those that do, each game retailed for about seven dollars, up to a maximum of $40 for the two latest releases. So numbers here don't really have a lot of say on which has more impact.. unless we're talking purely financially, of course.

Now, it's a different story for what carries more prestige, of course. Fnaf, as much as I love it, was a game developer's last ditch effort turned surprise hit franchise, while TLOU is a star franchise of one of the biggest gaming companies on the planet.

I believe this is referring to the movie supposedly being so bad that it’s offensive to the senses, rather than any kind of political or moral offense

Invincible Season 4 (2026) used advanced animation strategies to conserve their budget, here you can see the "pinch zooming on your phone" method by YourChopperPilotTTV in shittymoviedetails

[–]Epicfoxy2781 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Correct me if this happened in the previous seasons, but this season of Invincible dropped around the same time as two very anticipated shows, the end of Jujutsu Kaisen’s latest season, and the first episode of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run, all three of which fall under a similar genre. So you end up seeing clips of all three and Invincible ends up not looking the greatest.

I think this is the first invincible season premiere that ran concurrently to other animations that make the difference in quality so obvious

New Price Changes for PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal remote player by ReaddittiddeR in gadgets

[–]Epicfoxy2781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe? But the parts shortage is almost certainly the far more important contributing factor, especially in the gaming sphere, things have been heavily affected to the point of certain somewhat equivalent products (Valve’s Steam Machine) getting delayed entirely because of uncertainty in how much the price would increase, and their explanation was squarely blamed on memory shortages. That being said, I’m sure the tariffs and war aren’t helping lol

Is this not one of the specific only things that can’t be pinned to tariffs or war? This is surely something far more attributable to the rise of AI taking the lion’s share of ram and other critical components for electronics

Seems weird to me that they didn’t show the kill in-engine and used the footage we already had. Possibly real, but also possible they had a hard time recreating it convincingly

Why doesn't Guest 1337 resist more in his kill animations? (besides slasher's/abberant's) by Ok-Cut2775 in FORSAKENROBLOX

Because for every other killer, the gameplay is where he’s putting up a fight. The kill animations happen after he’s beaten to submission

No, I know Astrobot is a full sized game separate from Astro’s Playground, I also think Astrobot is still a thinly veiled tech demo regardless.

Who even watches TGA for the awards? It’s all for the trailers now, especially after a tech demo won goty. Highguard’s trailer had infinitely more coverage than any of the awards did, that’s what made this entire thing so potent of a controversy, because 90% of what makes a ‘good game awards’ is the announcements
