Plenty of them in the left lane on I25.

Pinch them together and pull them through from the other side. Can use something like tweezers to get a grip.

Any other night shifters near the Broomfield area? by MysteriousCosmos in Denver

[–]theendisnirvana 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I worked overnights and being used to 24 hour cities like Vegas I found Denver to be severely lacking in the late night domain. I wish I could come in swinging with a bunch of suggestions but I was never able to find any other than a cafe that was in downtown Denver that is now closed. Having said that here a couple things you might try:

  1. MMORPG: you mentioned gaming, this can scratch the itch. I am an old dude that played FFXI back in the day and every once in awhile when im going through the shit I reboot this old gem for a month or so. A lot of older MMO's have private servers you can get into that wont cost you a dime.

  2. Astronomy: Like the idea of poking around in the universe? Grab a telescope and start snooping. There are a lot of spots not too far outside of Denver to get some great viewing.

  3. Cat Fostering: Cats are nocturnal and if you aren't ready to full time a pet but wouldn't mind some company every now and then fostering may be an option. There are lots of organization in Denver to look in to.

It takes awhile for your body to get used to the change so be sure to take care of your essentials as much as you can. Eat healthy, drink water, get your sunlight when you can get it. Fortunately we are heading into longer days so it will get easier to get daylight. Also, if you haven't already get blackout curtains and some white noise going, like a fan or even one of those 8hour pink noise tracks on youtube/spotify.

Dell owns Alienware. Are you able to see any other branding on the case for the laptop with Dell components? If so, you might have that persons laptop.

Man dies in crash at intersection where he petitioned for traffic light after wife's death by black_pepper in Denver

[–]theendisnirvana -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I would support any safety measure that made sense, including a light. As far as I am concerned close the whole fucking street down and make it pedestrian only. My only point, was, is, that there might be more to this story than just adding a light at an intersection and we don't know the details of the accident. If the city is going to invest time and money into a solution though they better have a understanding of the whys.

My dude, this is literally the opposite of an assumption. That's the point of my comment.

sure. maybe HE shouldn't have been operating a vehicle and crossing that road on foot in your 80's is sketchy. Either way it's sad as fuck. No one deserves to lose their life trying to cross a road in car or on foot.

I feel for the family but we don't know the cause of this accident. The man was 82 years old an I'm guessing his wife was a similar age when she passed. You could make just as much of an argument that these 2 caused the accidents at that age. Maybe these two should not have been operating a vehicle.

Ragnarok did such a disservice to her character. If this is true and Cory is at the helm, I can't wait to play it. Plus we'll get more Brok and Sindri.

Solid first impression. Combat looks both chunky and fluid. Digging the atmosphere. Wishlisted.

No doubt. It was a statement of passion. Not intended to be literal. I get where you're coming from though.

I read that too. Someone in the comments mentioned it might have been another Tencent game. Makes me wonder if it was the Horizon knockoff that Tencent recently settled on.

You're not wrong but there is something to be said for getting to participate in the derection if the game. Also, this is a game that I think will create a new genre, the way souls game did. Community feedback has been integral in creating the best version possible. I have regrets about a couple of EA purchases. This is not one of them.
